I've been wanting to buy a tripod for my son's soccer games because I can't hold the phone steady enough when he's on the field. I thought I'd give this one a chance since it was under $20 --- and Amazon is really good about returns and exchanges for a lot of items. Well, this one is a keeper! It is light BUT sturdy. I set it up in a matter of seconds because there literally nothing to this thing --- EASY PEASY! Kids happened to be on the deck and it is windy so I tested it there, allowed it to play for a few minutes. The video turned out perfect - NO shaking at all! I had the tripod extended to its max and I thought it would wobble like crazy because my phone is large and heavy. Nope. It works great! The remote is also simple - works with Bluetooth, it has an on/off button on the side, and just a button on the front for taking photos or turning your video on record/off. The whole thing EVEN goes back in the box and it's compact enough to lug around with you. Just amazing and I am impressed! Can't wait for the next soccer game!

This stand is a good value . It's nice to use the remote to take pictures . The adjustable stand that could turn into a selfie stick is also great . It helps me take pictures to places where no other person could get to . Pairing the remote with my phone camera was easy peasy . I had no trouble there . Now for the cons . Sadly , the remote only works up to ten feet away before it stops responding . I tried using the remote to take my picture twenty feet away , and it didn't work . Another thing about the remote , is that you have to point it towards your camera . If you don't , the camera just wouldn't respond . The stand is stable on flat ground . But when it's on a hill or there is wind blowing , the stand can become wobbly . Another thing I wanted to point out , is the instruction booklet that came with the camera . The letters are just so small . Please use bigger letters when printing the instruction booklets . Other than all the things I just said . I feel this is a great buy . This tripod will go with me on many vacations . Therefore my score for this item is 4.5 out of 5 stars .

Love this tripod . Used my friends on vacation and had to get one . The remote dies pretty quickly so now I have to replace the battery . And also, if you try to hide the remote behind your back or something , it won’t connect to the phone . Seems like the remote has to be pointed directly at the phone to connect with the Bluetooth . But rather than that , I’m happy with my purchase . It’s very sturdy and people always ask who takes my pictures . Posted one of my pics with the tripod as truth

I am not technologically saavy. It was super easy to link to my iPhone 11!Took just seconds. I LOVE the remote control. It makes taking pictures so easy! Bonus, if you forget to turn it off, it turns itself off! Pro and con: it is very lightweight. Being light makes it very easy to carry. Since it is so lightweight, it got blown over by the wind, while taking a group picture. No harm to my phone because it landed in the sand. I am afraid that it could very easily be knocked over. Besides the beach, I have only used it inside. I bought it for my trip to Europe so I’m hoping it will do well there, too. It would have been nice if it had come with a carry case. I found one on Amazon for $7.50. I like it but it is a little bigger than I need.

I did not expect a full tripod in this. Yes, the legs are a bit short for stability, but a small camera or cell phone works well with this. The cell phone grip holds well and it attaches to the tripod with a camera type 1/4-20 bolt built into the tripod. The camera angle is a separate adjustment below the 1/4-20 bolt. In a rubber pocket, down between the legs, is the Bluetooth Button. It easily removes for remote shooting and pushes back into the rubber pocket easily. To use, set up the cell phone to receive Bluetooth, press the Bluetooth button, and in seconds they are paired up. Then select camera or video on the smart phone and you are ready. Every push of the button will take a new photo or start or stop the video. When finished, take the cell phone out of photo or video mode and replace the Bluetooth button into the rubber pocket. I believe that holding the Bluetooth button in for several seconds will power up or turn off the Bluetooth module. I gave it to her before I finished playing with it.

Bought this to record myself on the golf range. Love that it has an adjustable boom to set the phone’s height. I’m giving it 3 stars for two reasons. One is because the tripod barely weighs anything, so it can easily fall if there is too much wind. If you’re using it for indoor use then this doesn’t apply. Two is because the legs of the tripod are not durable at all. One leg broke after taking it to a golf course (I do not recall dropping it or banging it against something) and now it stands up with a lean if it stands up at all. For $20, this tripod is a great deal if you’re not doing anything too crazy with it. If you need more durability, look to spend more.

I like the tripod and remote but fo not like that you can only use remote for pics. Need remote to record start and stop video.

Tripo stand broke within 2 months of use, shoddy build quality, not recommended for purchase.
