BILLY Footwear Kids Classic Lace High (Little Kid/Big Kid)

These are it! My daughter has low muscle tone and we needed shoes with great support that could also make space for her SMOs. We LOVE Billy’s! She can wear her SMOs and the Billy’s are so easy to put on. The shoe laces can stay tied and you just zip open the shoe to easily insert your toddler’s feet. I also appreciate that there are 2 inserts that you can remove to make space if needed. So far the quality seems great and a good value for the money. We bought the sparkly pink glitter shoes and they are too cute! They give millenial rose gold lol. We will likely be buying more of these!

Absolutely wonderful! Not only are these cute and sparkly but they fit our AFOs perfectly. The zipper is easy to use and provides kid with independence to put on and off by themselves

These shoes are so fashionable and easy for my child to use by herself! My daughter wears AFO leg braces and her physical therapist recommended Billy shoes. Billy shoes zip all the way down and around the toes, so it's simple to get the foot placed in the shoe. There are 2 layers of insoles in the shoes that are not sticky on the bottom, so they come out easily to customize how much extra room you might need in the shoe to accomodate the extra bulk of the AFOs. We've found that we have to go up one size from my daughter's actual shoe size. She doesn't need the extra length, but the braces add a bit of width to her foot. The "white rainbow" shoes are so cute and the zipper is camouflaged to look like a fun colored trim around the seam and so peers wouldn't notice the extra long zipper without really examining them. The white rainbow shoes are made out of canvas and zip up much easier than other Billy shoes we've bought. I'm not sure if the ease of zipping is due to the flexibility of the canvas or if we just got unlucky with other shoes.

Love this product!!! My daughter is a tip-toe walker, so my husband and I took her to the orthopedic specialist to have them make braces for her to correct this issue. The orthopedic specialist recommended these shoes because they were easy for the braces to fit in. We ordered them right away and we’ve been in love ever since! The designs are kid friendly, the durability is amazing, and my daughter does not complain of any discomfort when wearing the shoes. Definitely money well spent!!!

I bought these because they were recommended by my sons orthopedic specialist since they work well with SMO braces. They definitely do work well and help to keep his feet flat on the floor. Overall the shoes fit well and are durable. I also love the back story of the company. The only reason for the four stars is because when we got them the soles were too slick and would slide on the hardwood floor. I had to sand them down by hand to fix that.

These shoes are a game changer for children with AFO braces! We have struggled for almost a year to find shoes that fit our granddaughters brace. It’s been so discouraging, until we came across these shoes. They have made getting ready in the morning so much faster and are so easy to get on, that they’ve given our girl (2) some independence. They are true to size, so no need to size up. They have been durable and easy to wipe clean. I’d highly recommend this product.
