1174-TN Weatherproof Umbrella Cover, Fits umbrellas 8.5 x 11 Feet, Tan

We have a roof garden with an LP Grill for BBQing. It is a wonderful space to enjoy gardening and eating outdoors enjoying the tropics. Among the features, are two round umbrella tables, each with four chairs, which we enjoy both alone and with invitees.After ten years of use, our umbrella covers became brittle, stained with black spots, and stiff instead of flexible when new. I ordered two of these protective covers and they are great thus far. No stains or signs of wear and tear yet (after approximately 2 months), and they keep our 20 year umbrellas new and dry just like our deteriorated former umbrella covers, but with a much more attractive appearance that allows us to leave them on when we eat outdoors at night, and don't want to open the umbrellas. It is too soon to say whether they will stay so nice long term, but we are very optimistic thus far. We love wild birds and all other animals that consider our yard and garden to be safe havens, but sometimes they inadvertently soil our umbrella covers. These protective covers can be hosed off easily without dampening our well-conserved umbrellas. The PBC wand to lift these covers on and off with ease are spot-on, and are so easily stored away in the pouch inside the umbrella cover. Great idea! Our former umbrella covers were much more expensive, and were not equipped with a wand for ease of removal and covering. Thumbs up!!!

This cover is a very good cover. The sewn-in wand makes it VERY easy to put on and take off. We ordered and second one after the first one got weathered. We are very happy with this cover as it protects our umbrella; even has elastic around the bottom so it stays snug.

This is a really nice umbrella cover, I love that it has a pole incorporated into it to make it easier to put the cover on and take it off. I think the price is rather high, compared to another cover I bought at Lowes - but we'll see how the two hold up. This cover does seem of higher quality than the one from Lowes - but not sure if it was worth 3 times the price.

I bought this cover in 2012 to protect my market umbrella during the winter. It has done a phenomenal job and my market umbrella still looks brand new! This year, I thought of replacing the cover because it was looking pretty nasty from mildew buildup. Instead of replacing it, I took it off and sprayed it with Clorox spray, let it sit for a few minutes, rinsed it well, and let it air dry. My husband thought I had bought a new cover because it looks absolutely brand new again! Still a great umbrella cover, 3 years later!

The ocean is rough on everything, so we have to replace our patio umbrella covers every year or two. This cover is about half of the price of our other covers and is the best yet. It goes on easily because of the 2 plastic tubes which connect to lift the cover. I am 5'2" and it was the easiest ever to put on and take off. The little sewn in storage for the tubes is great and keeps the tubes safely put away. I haven't had them long enough to go through a rough nor'easter, but I like the tight fitting bottom without the strings. It is better than the string closings which always break and cause the cover to fly open. I am thinking about buying 2 more to keep just in case, although I think these may really last.

I was looking for a cover that could be lifted onto the umbrella without tipping or removing it from the stand. It is well made, weatherproof, covers the cranking mechanism and the two part wand can be made to stay inside the cover-pouch without disassembling it by snugging up the Velcro around the sleeve that joins the two halves of the pvc pole. A good purchase at a fair price.

Cover lasted just under 3 years then the material cracked and needs to be replaced. No cover will last forever, so this one held up decently well, but it failed just after the warranty period. Keep in mind this trick to make the material last longer- KEEP IT CLEAN. Dirt build up from rain and soot will eventually make the material dry and crack. It's a real chore to clean the dirt caked in after a hard rain, but if you want this to last a bit longer I highly recommend you clean this thoroughly every 8 months or so. Be sure to wash off any soap you use as that can dry the material as well.

Looks good. Protects umbrella. Easy to use. Had for a couple years. Wearing well.
