Stale wafer at first, but placed in refrigerator, and problem solved
I opened the box and it had an ice pack along with the chocolate. The ice pack seemed like it already melted (I don't blame them). I ate one bonbon as soon as I opened the box, and the wafer seemed a little stale. I put the entire box in the refrigerator, and the next time I had one (probably a few hours later), they were perfect, just as I remembered. Delish!

Excellent!
My order arrived today (a week before expected). After finding this product and (ordering it on a whim without reading the reviews, because I was excited I found it), I read the reviews. I was a little worried my bonbons were going to be old, pass the sell by date or something of the sort, so the moment I walked through the door with the package, I opened it and tried one. It was perfect. No white coating on the chocolate (usually caused by the fat separating due to changes in temperature or poor storage conditions), the wafer was crisp and the filling perfect. So I am extremely pleased with my purchase. This bonbons bring back memories from my beloved Argentina.

Stale! Don't buy
Bought these for my girlfriend as a surprise gift, they arrived and I was so happy to give them to her as I have heard countless stories of them being her favorite candy in the whole world and how she used to have them as a kid. She opened them and was more excited than she has been in a while. I was over the moon. She couldn't wait anymore, and ripped one open and went, "oh no..." then showed it to me. We ordered the milk chocolate ones. I look at it, and it's white. Like it got dusted by powdered sugar. I was like, "well that isn't good." And we ripped it in half to take a look inside and the wafer was stale and crumbly, what was supposed to be the creamy peanut butter was also stale and disgusting. Then this is what made me mad. I reported it to the seller. And two weeks have gone by where message after message goes unread. They don't care that we received gross chocolates and I don't think they ever plan to make this right. Don't buy these. It isn't worth it. What looks like delicious gourmet chocolates is actually disappointing gross warehouse garbage...

The product was fresh . If you put the Bon Bon in the ref , the wafer becomes crunchy. The only complaint I have is that the peanut cream filling didn’t taste more of the peanut but rather creamy. Actually, I didn’t taste the peanut after all . I don’t know if it’s just me or I was expecting it was more of peanut taste in the product. I’m a nutty person. I’d rather go back to Ferrero Rocher .

They are delicious!!
Extra star for quick arrival. They are delicious - I favor the peanut butter flavor. Price is off putting for me, when shipping is also figured. Which is too bad. I'd gift these if the pricing were more reasonable.
