Highly suggest for roof cargo cases
Work amazingly well to lift the harbor freight case lids. Pressure is just enough to hold lid with a set of traction boards on it. It does require aid to lift with the boards. No boards it lifts perfectly with only 1 strut per case. Fitment is great just make sure you get the mounting points right.

Fit as described sort of ... I had to remove the provided end cap and use the OEM end but the threads are the same so they were easily exchanged. Once the old end caps were on it fit exactly as described and worked to prop the safe door open quickly. We'll see how long they last. For now, good value, and good fit.

Instant fail.
Hardware bent instantly. Then strut head broke when pulling it off bent hardware. Was supposed to hold up lid to toy box. Measured twice, broke twice.

Does not come with hardware have to order that screws with the nuts for the toolbox
They work, but it would be nice to have the extra screws with nuts on them for the toolbox

Super Haltekraft und einfache Installation
Ich habe diese Gasdruckfedern in einem Schrank verbaut. Die Tür wiegt mit Griffen 10,5kg. Die Gasdruckfeder hilft richtig gut bei der Öffnung und hält die Tür anschließend hoch. Die Installation ist sehr einfach: Man misst die gewünschte Position bei ausgezogener Feder aus und installiert die Kugelköpfe passend. Anschließend steckt man die Gasdruckfeder auf beiden Seiten auf und die Installation ist abgeschlossen. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist einsame Spitze. Ich bin absolut begeistert und habe direkt weitere Gasdruckfedern für die anderen Schränke nachbestellt.

Good product, even better support
Bought this strut for small cabinets in my camper, one was DOA. I emailed the seller on Saturday and had a replacement delivered on Tuesday. Excellent service!
