Has the gold pendent ever tarnished?

I've taken two shows with it on and have slept a few days with it on too. Never tarnished with me. I would recommend wiping it with gold cleaner every month and letting it completely dry before putting it away. I now take mine off every night just to be safe but this necklace is pretty good quality.
