What shade of blue are these? Are they navy or royal?

I bought the white ones, good quality for the price. Suggest you buy them, if they're the wrong colour, send them back.

Are these good for dinner parties?

Afraid not. I wanted them to be quite sturdy, thick so I could fold them. But I found them to be cheap quality and out of shape. You can see through the fabric so the cotton grade is not as high as you would think. I was offered another set for free and it was just as bad. I haven’t used any of them for guests. They are just not good enough. I would look elsewhere. Sorry

Do I have to iron after washing?

Yes you do but I always iron napkins in a pouch and put the cutlery in them.
