They're well-made, and work well, but definitely order larger than you think you might need
I really like these. A lot. Just know they run small. The white square you see in the first image here on Amazon is Velcro, and you’re looking at the outside of the belly band. My recommendation is to measure carefully, and buy the band that has that number as the lowest measurement. Example: Our black Pomeranian measures 13” of girth where the band is supposed to fit. The manufacturer says they small fits 10”-13” … and the medium fits 13”-16”. Seeing that other reviewers said these run small, I hesitantly ordered the medium. I’m SO glad I did. We ordered the three black bands to match our black dog, and the “overlap” of the Velcro is just right so we don't see any of the white Velcro. If I had ordered a small, there would be a lot of white Velcro showing, which would probably look a bit odd. In fact, if your dog’s waist is just slightly under a range shown, I'd still recommend buying the next size up. For example, if your dog’s girth is 15”, I’d recommend getting the large (16" - 20"), NOT the medium (13" - 16"). Side story as to why we got these: Our Pom was gifted to us by a neighbor around the corner who told us he could no longer take care of his dog. He knew we trained our dogs well, so he thought we’d be good adoptive parents. We chose to take his 8-year old dog, but he neglected to tell us the dog was not house trained – and not neutered. Oh, and he’s deaf, too. All three were joyous discoveries </sarcasm>. The first day, when we realized he was lifting his leg on everything, we contained him in a pen, then went and bought disposable belly bands. They did the trick while we started training this deaf dog (and we got him neutered as soon as we could), but I learned about these washables and realized I could get them for the same price as two packages of the disposables. No brainer. Based on the suggestions of other reviewers, we, too, bought the Equate Super Maxi pads from Wal-Mart and we use these inside the washable wrap. In the three months' we've had him, we’ve got the boy trained enough now so that he’s not lifting his leg on everything, but on the rare occasion that we haven’t been home to get him outside, the maxi-pad absorbed everything and the band itself did not need to be washed. By the way, the boy loves getting the wrap put on. He comes inside and waits for us to put the band on. Obviously, your pup may not be so enthusiastic, but ours actually enjoys it. I think this is a well-made product, and if you order larger than you think you need, you should be pleased.

Sanity saver for owners of male dogs
Another update Aug. 2022: It's been 5 1/2 years since I purchased these pads. Some are starting to show wear and tear in the fabric - small snags and little tears. But they are still very much usable as the wear is only on the sides. The hook & loop closures still work absolutely fantastic. Teamoy must have some kind of magic brand for that stuff. Of all the different brands I've used, Teamoy is THE best company for dog pads - male and female. Update: After a year of daily use the bellybands are still in excellent shape and the hook and loop closures continue to hold as strong as on the 1st day. (On the smaller set from a different brand I had to replace the closure on all 3 already, because they kept falling off the dog.) The fabrics and the linings are also holding up really well, even after repeated washings. "IF" I ever need to replace them I will buy this brand again. 1st picture shows the bellyband on the dog. 2nd & 3rd show the other 2 from the set. One of them needs washing (with the stains), the other one is clean and shows how well anything washes out of them. These belly bands are fantastic! They work extremely well. The hook & loop closure is super strong and hasn't lost any of its grip yet, despite daily use and multiple on and offs during the day. The XL fits well on my giant dog - maybe even a tad snug - and has stayed in place every time. All three in this set have also held up great during multiple washes. I do use men's incontinence stick-in pads (from Walmart), though, so if my dogs do decide to "mark" in the house I can just swap out the pad instead of having to wash a wet diaper. This has worked really great for me. No more carpet scrubbing and smell-hunting trying to find where those few drops were deposited!

Use as a Diaper Cover
I have a male, 13lb Morkie. He is 7 years old. I started using male dog diapers (belly bands) about 6 weeks ago. The reason: Marking when unsupervised! I have tried every cleaner and product to stop this. I have tried every teaching method learned over 7 years. I use these OVER regular dog diapers. The regular dog diapers (similar to women's pads) will leak occasionally and odor seep. I use these as a diaper cover. Absolutely no leaks. I've been doing this around 3 weeks now. I diaper my furbaby at night and if I leave the house now. I finally have some peace from constant cleaning up dog pee. I highly recommend these. The band width is wider than regular dog diapers and has elastic at the edges. The velcro closure is wide and as others mention; it's a strong hold velcro which will take getting used to when taking the diaper off. Since going to this product, the diapers have not slipped off even when my pup scoots his belly across the bed or the floor while stretching. These diapers have padding in the pee pee area. Washing them no issues other than one time, the odor didn't wash out so I hand washed it in Woolite. Still could smell pee. Added a little bleach and that did the trick. Now, I put a very small (capful) amount of bleach in the washer when I wash these. I make sure they are rinsed very well. No odor. I do not put them in the dryer. I hang them to dry. I prefer air dry so the dryer heat doesn't mess them up. My pup doesn't have a problem wearing diapers and no side effects. We do clean his penis area with Doggie Wipes once we take the diapers off. It works for human babies so figure it's good for our furbaby ! 🙂

Excellent product
I have a special needs, 50 pound, Golden Retriever and these are a blessing. Unfortunately, he will never be able to potty train when his body says go to the bathroom there is no holding it to get outside. Being able to help contain the amount of clean-up being done by myself and my family has not only made loving our boy easier but helped keep the piece with my family. I highly recommend belly bands when they are necessary. These are a great product. The size chart is easy to follow and getting an decent measurement on my wiggle butt wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. He had an approximately 21 inch waist and the XL fit as expected. If I match the velcro ends exactly on top of each other it's a smidge loose so I overlap them just a bit further. He won't grow much more now that he's a year old but as he finishes his last bit of growth to his full size I think that we will be able to continue to use this size perfectly. Tips to other people out there: 1) MEASURE YOUR DOG. There is nothing worse than having the wrong size show up and a quick measure around their waist is pretty easy. 2) I bought some of the larges when he was about 5 pounds smaller and although they still fit they don't hold as much because they are narrower and I don't get as much contact with the velcro patches so there is some exposed velcro that sometimes gets caught on fabrics around the house. That being said if you're pooch is "between" sizes spend the couple of extra dollars for the larger size. You will be much happier with the result. 3) I can't imagine that it's easy to get them on any dog or that any dog "enjoys" wearing them. My guy has a brain disorder and some days he's just not cooperative. Stay calm, be sneaky if you have too, open the velcro out of ear shot (if my guy hears that crinkle and is in a mood the noise starts up the fight before I even get close), and enlist the aid of a family member, if needed, one to distract with treats while the other gets the band on. My guy seems to have trained to me calmly whispering "good boy" if I don't say it repeatedly he wants to sit while I'm getting it on and that never goes well. ;-) Whatever the reason you are using these they are wonderful. They get my boy through my work day and commute time with little to no leaking on the weekend we change more frequently and never have an issue. These do need to air dry because of the exterior fabric and that takes about 24 hours. I hang mine 2 to a hanger and it works very well. You will want to have several days supply on hand so you can have a rotation of ready to use bands while others are drying. We use 4-6 per day regularly so I have a couple dozen in case life steals my time and I don't get the laundry done as often as I'd like. Hug your pups and love them even when they are a challenge or have special needs. The rewards far out-weight the cost of a few belly bands!

Durable
SUPER DURABLE. We have been using this set for 7 years for our anxious dog. They get washed 2-3x a week. Today is the first time one of the diapers fell apart. Super impressive quality and worth the money.

Works well
I’ve bought these before a few years ago. Decided to put my male dog back in diapers since he Keri’s having accidents since he’s getting older. These are so great and fit him perfect. He’s 13lbs so I got the medium. They fit him really well and a little room to grow. They wash and hold up well. Highly recommended.

WAY too much velcro
Impossible to get off from a wiggly, squirmy dog. Get these instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077ZRRL4H?th=1 They look like the same thing but they're not. They have two strips of velcro instead of a huge pad, as well as considerably more absorbent material. Wash them like clothing and then let them air dry.

Best Invention Since Sliced Bread!
These are the most wonderful thing EVER! I mean this little item is what keeps my tiny male dog at home with me and not in the pound! I would not be able to tolerate dog pee around the house and there is really no way to break them from doing it. Of course, I did not find out that little male dogs mark in the house until after I got my beautiful male Chihuahua. He has always been trained to go on puppy pads and will do so always, you don't even have to let him outside at all, but he is also housebroken to go outside. I have a female that is the same way, but she doesn't mark in the house, so she is awesome! I started noticing the smell of dog pee around the house when he was about a year old, but I would only see him go on the pads. Then my dad came over one day and had been around another dog recently, Gizmo started smelling around his clothes and then out of the blue, he peed on his boots! I was mortified! I had no idea he was doing this around the house, so I googled it and it opened up the flood gates of little male dog pee. Apparently everyone knew about it but me...LOL...I was used to owning larger dogs like St. Bernards and Great Danes, these male dogs never mark in the house and they housebreak very easily, so I had no idea when I chose a little dog this time, of the horror that was to come. I was in a panic and terrified I would have to let my little "Beadabug" go to doggy jail, then I came across these underpants and I cannot stop singing their praises! Now, you can't just let them wear the underpants alone, or pee will leak through everywhere. I have seen people write about this, you have to use something else to get the waterproof effect. What I do is put 2 pantyliners, side by side, in the underpants and change the liners as needed and then the underpants when they get soiled. I have about 9 of these adorable underpants with various designs and my daughter loves them! I let her pick what pair for him to wear next. We have enough where I'm not washing doggy underpants every day. My little guy weighs about 7-8 lbs., he is on the longer, skinnier side and the size small 10"-13" fit him perfectly around his manly belly area. He does not walk funny or think anything odd about wearing them, in fact, he actually thinks it's a reward to put his underpants on! I highly recommend these if you want to enjoy your little male dog without a care in the world! These are an absolute lifesaver! Piss away little man, I've got ya covered! ;)

Worked for us 😁
Have only used this for one night but I'm very happy! We adopted a 5 year old French bulldog who had been kept in Kennels his whole life so he was used to peeing wherever he liked. When we got him home he was ok in the day when we were watching but at night he would pee on his bed or on the doormat. We are about to move to a house we have brought with cream carpets so I started looking for a solution. We ordered him the large size, they are probably slightly too big but he is underweight at the moment. I also brought some charcoal baby nappy inserts to put inside in case he did wee to soak it up. He hasn't tried to get it off, a puppy might though. A great buy for us!

Best value on Amazon
The BEST belly bands I have bought and I have bought a fair few The only thing I would suggest to the manufacturer is to consider a darker lining as the white lining shows the urine stains The best pads to go in them that I have found are a supermarket own brand (don’t know if I’m allowed to say the name). 43p for ten and they are lovely and thick

These Actually Work
I bought these diapers for my very aged 20 year old pomeranian x chihuahua pup. He is toilet trained but the poor old man now forgets he needs to go potty outside though somedays I think he is just too old to care anymore. These are excellent diapers. They stay on and contain all the liquid. They seem comfortable - he doesn't seem to mind wearing them. They are easy to put on and take off and you just throw them in the washer. Very easy. My pup is just on 16 inches at the waist so I ordered the large and they fit well, plus you can adjust them because the valcro is very wide. I love the style and colours too. Excellent.
