A noticeable POP in speed! Pricing a bit steep at $67.99 (1600 is 7+ years old as-of 2021)
I used this to upgrade an 8+ year-old PC from 8GB to 16GB, running Windows 10. NICE and noticeable bump in performance, not only from the perspective of the added RAM capacity, but also the CL9 latency was a 28.5% speed improvement over the CL12 of the previous RAM. My SSD 'felt faster' due to improved caching via Samsung Magician "Rapid Mode", and everything was just better. I am a bit of power user, even if I'm running an 8yo PC.24+ hours in, system has been perfectly stable, no issues with RAM. Patriot is a brand I trust, based on prior experience with their products.Features Rating info:Easy to install - 5 stars, but I'm an experienced PC tech. Doing this yourself is easy enough, if you know about things like static electricity, dust, and 'other'. If you don't know how to upgrade RAM, find some YouTube videos about it.For gaming - Yes, I am a gamer. Things will run faster because of the extra RAM. For FUN, I did create a RAMDISK (4 GB), and loaded the notoriously slow (beautiful otherwise) game GOTHIC 3 (2006) onto the RAMDISK. Teleporting, and other things were SUPER FAST AND SMOOTH!!Value for money - 2 stars might be generous. PC3-12800 RAM is somewhat outdated, especially for gaming PCs. It should not be priced where it is right now ($67.99), and really should be down around the $39.99/$49.99 price point. I probably should've bought faster DDR3 RAM, used it for now, then moved it to a semi-newer PC in the future.Personal note: I AM due for a new PC, just been holding off, just a bit too long due to Covid-19. Stay healthy, folks!

Good memory
works as it should .this was added to my 2 empty mem slots and it booted up just fine the first time.Different brand than my other but slot and speed are the same , timing was different but it works well.Passed a 1 hr Mem test program with zero issues .

Works as advertised.
Ordered this to replace my old Corsair 1333mhz kit that I've had forever and lately had been dying to get rid of. This Patriot kit is noticeably faster; I could immediately tell the difference in a variety of tasks (gaming, video streaming, etc.) Even just doing something as mundane as dragging a window across the desktop or closing out of a game is noticeably smoother. One major benefit is that Patriot has a very high compatibility with motherboards in general; so if you have a DDR3 board, the Viper line is pretty much guaranteed to work with it.As a sidenote, some people will tell you that memory bandwidth doesn't make much of a difference, and I will tell you that's false. It largely depends on what you're doing and how low you were to start with, as there are diminishing returns the higher and higher you go. If you're at something like 1333mhz, jumping up to 1866mhz or more is a sizeable boost in bandwidth and will provide an immediate benefit to almost everything you do on your machine, especially if your CPU is overclocked. It can also provide a few more fps in many games as well (especially at higher resolutions where bandwidth becomes more important), if that's your thing. All in all, this Patriot RAM is pretty good stuff and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Decent RAM that works like it should.
OK Ram,not going to wow you with benchmarks, but since it's mostly on the lower end of the price range it is a very good value for the money. It certainly has a quality look to it,but I'd say it's just middle of the road RAM wrapped up in a nice suit, for a very good price.Pro's:Looks goodDoesn't cost any more than 'naked' sticks.Con's:Not much improvement over the 'naked' sticks I tested it againstcooling fins on this taller set could interfere with some CPU coolers.Recommended, but if you want benchmarks I've had better luck with Corsair Vengeance, or G.SKILL Ripjaws for similar or slightly more money

Very nice
Got it for my girlfriend and it works as described. And no problems right now with how it works and does its job nicely.

Great value for excellent performance
I purchased two of these memory kits for an older Shuttle SH67H PC with an Intel i5-3470 CPU @ 3.20GHz and they fit and perform very well. Overall a very good value for a trusted name.

Seems like a good buy
**NOTE**: Bear in mind that my ratings are provisional & subject to adjusting should an issue arise. I just got the 16 GB of DDR3 RAM yesterday & I installed it in the wee hours of the night. Installing it was relatively painless. It may be even easier for folks that have more experience than I do swapping PC parts in/out than I do (this was only the 2nd time I swapped out RAM, so I'm fairly inexperienced). I t did take a few minutes, if only because I don't exactly have a steady hand. The RAM seems to be working just fine. Now, here's the thing - I cannot say for sure if it was a RAM issue, just sheer coincidence, or there was user installation error, or something related, but not too long after I installed the RAM, powered up my PC, etc. I did get my 1st Blue Screen of Death & my PC restarted automatically. Since I am not positive as to what to attribute the BSOD to with 100% certainty, & (so far) it only happened once, I won't factor the BSOD into my rating/score. I haven't done anything too intensive just yet since installing the RAM - watched 1 video, installed 1 PC game (Panzer Dragoon Remake), & just briefly ran the game, So it's difficult to judge performance based on that. If need be, I will edit this review later on or write a separate addendum

Memorias estables y potentes

Highly recommended!
5/5 - 100%. I initially had doubts seeing this low price for 9-9-9-24. However, no issues so far and memtest86 shows 0 errors after 4 cycles (almost 3 hours). See images attached to this comment.Friendly advice - make sure the memory your are buying fits your computer and is compatible with it, this will save you some some and nerves. Things to check:- DDR GenerationThe RAM's DDR generation (e.g., DDR4, DDR5, DDR3) must match the motherboard's supported generation; you cannot put DDR5 RAM into a DDR4 motherboard or vice versa.- Form FactorDesktop PCs use DIMM (Dual In-line Memory Module) RAM, while laptops use the smaller SO-DIMM (Small Outline DIMM) form factor. A DIMM stick will not fit in a laptop's SO-DIMM slot, and vice versa.- Motherboard SpecificationsCheck the motherboard's manual for the number of memory slots and the supported memory configurations (e.g., single, dual, quad-channel).- Speed and TimingThe RAM's speed (MHz or MT/s) and latency (CL) should be compatible with the motherboard and CPU. While many motherboards can run RAM at a default slower speed, their compatibility is crucial for reaching the RAM's advertised performance.- CPU CompatibilityThe CPU works closely with the RAM, so they must be compatible. Check the motherboard's specifications for the CPU it supports, and then select RAM compatible with both.- Physical ClearanceLarge, tall CPU coolers may physically block RAM slots, preventing the installation of RAM with tall heat spreaders. Measure the available space or check specifications to ensure no interference.
