Best Lanolin Undercoating Product!
I've looked for the best undercoating product and have mixed my own in the past. But, crude oil products degrade rubber, causes it to swell up with time so that caused some fear, especially on a newer vehicle. There seem to be so many products out there for undercoating, but what I like about WoolWax is that it is pretty much non-toxic, safe with rubber, seems to stay on for approximately 2 years (touch ups recommended), and generally it's a good product that does not degrade or break down with time, especially on non-exposed areas (cavities!) I loaded it into my generic pneumatic undercoating sprayer, and found that it is incredibly thick and hard to spray. However, if you heat it up to about 70 or 80 degrees in a separate container, it seems to flow a lot better. I've read you can apply it with ease, with an airless paint sprayer especially for the final coat underneath. As we head into winter, I've never felt so good. I know my vehicles are protected underneath and inside all cavities. I've owned many older vehicles that were completely rotten and it is not fun replacing rocker panels, welding in patches for fenders, etc. and matching up the paint and blending clear coat, and once the rust starts it is almost impossible to get under control. I pop out every rubber plug and fill every hole, cavity, fender, frame hole, with this stuff, including inside my doors. Keep the rust from starting on the inside, and/or the outside. I did use rubberized undercoating once and that vehicle is completely rusted underneath after about 3 years. Not a good choice, as the rubber breaks down and cracks, allowing saltwater to enter and become trapped underneath. I've thought about woolwax many times, but never bought it. I used about 1 gallon for a full size truck, not bad, and as I re-apply it next year I will probably use less, but I will always keep a pail in stock, it never goes bad, and neither does the metal to which it is applied.

Great product highly recommend
I use this product to protect the frames of my rental Golf carts. It’s works great and also makes the underside of the carts look new. It does not dry so be careful when working underneath. I am very happy with the results and always recommend to others.

I will buy again
I live in the Midwest and drive old vehicles. This product really helps with the road salt and rust. It sprays nice out of the woolwax gun and covers very well. The smell is not too strong compared to some of the old kerosene/oil methods and has pretty much vanished after the first few months. I watched many reviews for these type of products online and woolwax seemed to last the longest. I haven't had it long enough to speak on the durability yet, but I will update the review if I am unsatisfied. I had enough product from this 5 gallon bucket to do 100% underside coverage on 3 full size pickups.

Much better than fluid film.
Works good coats well. If you scratch it or disturb it, it will merge back together. When it’s cold it almost doesn’t move. We figured out if you slightly heat it up it sprays a lot easier. Definitely better than fluid film and doesn’t have that dirty puddy smell like fluid film.

This covers great and creeps in slowly
This stays "wet" for a while until you get some dust on it. Take your vehicle down a dusty road. If you have to work on your vehicle, just know that this stuff is like roofing tar, it gets everywhere long after it has been applied

Install pump in lid
Applied with minimal mess and no smell. The black makes chassis look new again while preventing rust. Buy a hand pump and install on lid which makes filling sprayer alot easier. It will go a long way on multiple vehicles.
