I'm more than pleased with this Wantek phone headset! Nothing but 'pros' - no 'cons' whatsoever. I use the headset with a Panasonic cordless phone. First, the band fitting over my head is adjustable, and comfortable - important as both business and personal conversations can be quite long. The earpiece is easy on my ears, and, it's attractive and nicely padded. The mouthpiece is easily moved to the perfect, workable spot. The 5-foot cord is a sane, functional length - too long and the cord would be cumbersome. That cord by the way is a good size and weight - and it's a sturdy cord, built to last. Using the headset, phone conversations are crystal clear. I hear others perfectly, and they hear me perfectly as well. That's the idea, of course - efficient communication! Too - let me mention that with the headset, connections with cell phones - which can be irregular - do improve. The volume control and the mute switch, both located on the cord, work very well. Another plus is that the cord plug fits snugly into the phone jack. That's not always the case with headsets. This headset is a fine, life-improving device. Worth every penny.

I've purchase more telephone headsets over the years than I can possibly remember. They had their various pros and cons, but all of them would eventually short out and become useless. Some barely lasted a year. This headset is the notable exceptions. I've been using it for years and it just keeps working. Adjustable volume that can be amplified much beyond what comes out of my cordless phone. A mute button. And no shorts. An excellent product.

Good enough considering they don't make 2.5mm headsets anymore. Isn't as great as my old Plantronics but gets the job done. I can hear them and they can hear me clearly when on calls. On/off button on the cord works to mute/unmute. Volume button on the cord works. I really like the thickness of the cord because my old Plantronics broke after 20 years from a frayed wear and tear on the cord. This seems the cord will be quite durable. I wish that I could adjust the arm of the mic, independent of the ear pad, in more of a ball and socket type of range. It only goes up and down and the ear pad rotates 180 degrees with the arm of the mic attached. The headband may feel a bit tight to some. I have an average size head, I wear medium hats/helmets etc and it seems snug. However, I bent the headband a bit and it feels looser and more comfortable. I had bought the Callez and it didn't work and had a loud noise that neither one of us could hear over. So get this Wantek if you are deciding between the two because there aren't a lot of options out there.

I bought this headset to replace my old one with I had for 10 years or more. The old one had an ear piece of both sides whereas this new one only has it on the left side. I look like a call center person wearing this one :):) This took me a a little while to get used to but did not cause any problems otherwise. The quality of the conversation is wonderful! I use the headset at home for my long conversations with my friends and family in Europe and it sounds like they are right next door. At first I did not know how to regulate the sound level in the earpiece and asked my sister to speak less loudly - but I then I figured out the very easy way to change the volume in that knob in the middle of the cable between the phone and the headset :) All in all: it is a wonderful headset that keeps my hands free during long conversations!

Updated as of 7/13/2025 -- This has fully failed. I am not a heavy user of a headset, but use it when I need to talk for over 10 minutes. I can hear people with the headset, but the mic doesn't work now. DO NOT PURCHASE!!! Updated as of October 2024 -- Wire near the jack that goes into the phone is now shorting out. I've been using it daily. The swivel for the ear piece turns in so the microphone boom is touching your mouth. This is a complete piece of junk and I need to find something else. DO NOT PURCHASE.... Original review in March 2024: I was truly thinking that this was going to be a great replacement for a 2.5mm jack DECT wireless landline phone. Volume does better than the name brand Panasonic that I replaced, but the mic boom is in the way if I drink from a cup, it is not flexible and seems to close to my mouth. The adjustable piece on the head doesn't stay in place so I am constantly readjusting where it is on my head and... I never thought I would say this... the cord is too long and doesn't stay secured in the wireless landline phone (it keeps popping out). I'm not sure where all these positive reviews come from. It is too expensive for what was sent.

Ordered these around the beginning of December 2025. Had them about 6 weeks and the microphone went out. People could not hear what I was saying. It's a shame as the headphone volu.e was excellent. I tried all the troubleshooting methods they recommended but still did not work. I believe I submitted a request for a replacement but not sure if it went through. The return process was a little confusing. Will see if they respond

my old panosonic one broke and died on me. I've had 3 of them over 5 years.. So i'm giving this one a tried. I like the feels and looks of this. the sound quality is really good. I like the swtich to mute and unmute hopfully this one will last longer

Looking for a headset for my Panasonic KX-TG994 DECT 6.0 Bluetooth phone system and this works wonderfully with it. I originally purchased another headset from another B&M store that had a 3.5mm plug thinking that was that I needed. Unfortunately 3.5mm didn't fit and I couldn't find a 2.5mm headset which lead me to this one after reading the reviews. Happy with purchase - good audio quality. Nice having a physical mute button on it as well as volume control. It does start to get a little uncomfortable after HOURS of wearing it, but YMMV with your head size (I think mine is normal). Shipped quick and in good packaging. Would recommend this item and seller.

Ein gutes kabelgebundenes Headset, was auch sehr einfach zu bedienen ist. Ich nutze es im Homeoffice bis zu 10 Stunden im Dauereinsatz. Das Kabel ist lang genug und kann mit einer Klammer auch am Pulli, Revers oder Hemd (etc) festgeklemmt werden, damit es nicht auf dem Boden schleift. Die Lautstärkeregelung ist etwas schwammig, funktioniert aber. Es gibt noch einen ON/OFF Schieberegler welcher nur bedingt funktioniert. Bei off werde ich vom Gegenpart immer noch gehört, aber sehr leise. Würde ich als MUTE Taste also nicht nehmen (da lieber am Telefon selbst muten). Die Sprachqualität ist sehr gut (ich nutze es am Gigaset Festnetz Mobilteil mit 2,5mm Klinkenanschluss). Es bietet gemessen an einem Vollzeit Arbeitstag, mit bis zu 80% Telefonanteil einen sehr guten Tragekomfort. Unterm Strich ein gutes, robustes Headset, welches seinen Zweck total erfüllt. Die angeführten Negativpunkte stören mich nicht unbedingt.

Meine Zeit im Homeoffice ist geprägt von Telefonkonferenzen. Daher habe ich mich nach einem Headset für mein Siemens Mobilteil C430 umgeschaut und mir dieses Headset gekauft. Meine Hoffnung war, dass es an das Gigaset-Mobiltelefon passt. 2,5 mm-Anschluss ist ja vorhanden. Das Headset war am nächsten Tag da. Eingestöpselt und los telefoniert. Die Sprachqualität ist absolut klar und meine Gesprächspartner verstehen mich deutlich. Toll auch die Lautstärkeverstellung per Schiebregler. Die Polsterung am Ohr ist weder störend oder unangenehm. Man kann das Headset gut am Kopf anpassen und das Mikrofon leicht wegdrehen. Ich bin absolut begeistert und werde dieses Headset auch sonst für längere Telefonate privat einsetzen.

Update 9/2020 Ich habe mittlerweile als Garantieersatz ein neues Headset erhalten. Der Service funktioniert also. Ich hoffe nun, das das neue Headset deutlich länger hält. Update 08/2020 Obwohl ich das Headset nur bei längeren Telefonaten nutze, habe ich nach weniger als 6 Monaten bereits einen Kabelbruch, vermutlich vor dem Klingenstecker. Ich kann meine Gesprächspartner also bei minimaler Bewegung des Kabels nicht mehr verstehen/verstanden werden. 02/2020 Gestern bestellt, heute geliefert und direkt im HomeOffice-Einsatz getestet. Ich betreibe das HeadSet an meinem gigaset C430HX. Bedauerlicherweise passt es mit dem Klinkenstecker nicht mehr in die Ladeschale, aber das hat Siemens verbockt, nicht Wantek!!! - Die Min und Max der Lautstärkeeinstellung hat bisher für mich völlig ausgereicht. - Die Klammer des Bügels drückt nach einigen Stunden am Kopf. Ich vermute mal das das noch nachlässt. - Meine Kunden haben die Sprachqualität als gut bezeichnet. Zum NoiseCancelling kann ich nichts sagen. - Als ich während einer Konferenz in mein Brötchen beissen wollte habe ich die MUTE Taste gedrückt ..... das war ein grosser Fehler, denn leider beendet das Headset das Gespräch anstatt zu tun was auf dem Knopf steht. Blöd für mich. Mit dem falsch belegten Mute-Knopf (#NoMute) kann man eingehende Gespräche annehmen ohne am Mobilteil zu drücken. Insgesamt nach einem Tag zufrieden, die Mute-Funktion hätte ich aber doch sehr gerne am Headset gehabt.

I have these headsets on my phone 100% of the time. I never talk on the phone without them. I do my chores when I am on the phone talking to friends and family. The set works great. Clear, and I love the volume control. Highly recommend.
