These clamps are very sturdy and hold materials securely in place. The build quality is solid, and they provide strong clamping force for woodworking projects. Easy to adjust and comfortable to use. Great value for a 4-pack!

If you are not careful, you can go broke just buying clamps for different projects. I have found this set of four to be really well made and versatile without emptying the check book. They are nearly indestructible, easy to use, don't rust and clamp securely. If I had to find a "complaint", it would be one common to all these types of clamps: the rubber protectors on the jaws will eventually come loose and get lost. Now, as soon as my clamps arrive, I remove the rubber tips, coat the insides with JB Weld and glue the rubber tips onto the jaws. Problem solvedd I will be buying more Jorgensen products in the future.

These are nice heavy duty clamps. Amazon had the best price, and beat my local LoweZ. These clamps have pretty well machined/casted clamp ends. I'm referring to the clamp end that is permanently seated at the end of the clamp's bar. When the ends aren't perpendicular to the bar, the tilt of the clamping end causes the clamping pressure to be directed laterally and the glue surfaces then slide away from each other and the glue surfaces become misaligned. These don't seem to have that problem. Very happy with my purchase.

I picked up this four pack of Jorgensen "F" clamps -- two six inchers and two twelves -- to add a few more to the clamp collection. I have been using this same tried-and-true design for decades in my shop, because they are simple, durable, and strong enough for reasonable use. The grippy rubber handles on the new ones are MUCH better than my old ones (which were smaller diameter and wood). The threads are nicely cut, and work smoothly with a bit of oil. The pads are easily removed (optimist) or tend to fall off (pessimist), but a dab of silicone has kept my old ones in place for a long time. The pic shows how close these are to the original design. The new ones have teeth on BOTH edges of the bars -- not sure why. No rough spots on the castings, and the paint is very smooth. It is great to see that Jorgensen kept the same quality over decades, and the price was fair enough. Hope the review is helpful, and I will answer any questions that I can. Thanks!

These steel bar clamps are well made and work well for clamping, but I would say it would better if the combo came in 12" and perhaps 16" clamps. The six inch clamp is a bit compact for most clamping projects in my shop. Granted the two 6" clamps could replace two C clamps. Other than that issue, they work well, easily used for those challenged woodworkers.

These clamps are very helpful when making epoxy tables and you need to clamp down your blocks to the table so they don’t float. They also work for any kind of clamp application and they’re easy to use. They are sturdy and a good quality.
