Great Inspection Tool for Tight Spaces
Bought this RC car for a crawl space inspection to locate a broken drain pipe, and it worked surprisingly well. The camera quality was clear enough to identify the damaged area, and the remote control had enough range to maneuver through tight access points without crawling in myself. Good traction, decent battery life, and saved time on diagnostics. For contractors, plumbers, or anyone needing to inspect hard-to-reach areas, this is a smart budget-friendly tool.

Great fun at a surprisingly low price!
When I was a kid remote control cars were expensive, and large ones with any kind of power and quality were REALLY expensive. In the movie “Home Alone 3” the main character duct-taped a big old camcorder to his RC car and we kids thought he was both a genius and a visionary. Fast forward to today and now you can buy a really nice RC car with a wifi CAMERA on it for well under a hundred bucks(!) What a time to be alive. So can something so reasonably priced actually be that good? In the case of this particular car, the answer is “Yes!”. This RC car is just great. For the price I can hardly believe the attention to detail. The car itself is sturdy and has a cool design. The interior has seats and a steering wheel. The tires are actual squishy rubber and the car’s suspension actually works (if you watch the slow-motion parts of my video you can see the suspension working) I’ve only played with the camera app a little bit so far but it worked just fine on my android phone and I could either drive the car with the app or just view the camera with the app and drive via the controller. They send a phone mount for the controller so you can easily view the camera feed while driving and the quality of the camera is surprisingly good. The battery charger is easy to use, I like things that charge via USB as it just makes life simpler. The car is really fun to drive, fast and just a blast to zip it around inside or outside. I would recommend this to anyone, it puts a smile on any kids face from age 5 to 95, everyone gets a kick out of a good remote control car and you can’t beat the price on this one for what you get.

Issues at first, but great fun RC car now
UPDATE 12-16-19: In full transparency, the company reached out to me about the issues with the privacy of the app and the car I received and went above and beyond to make things right. At the time of my original review I was using the android app and have recently switched to IOS. The company stated it was an issue with the app and that the app had been updated. I can confirm for IOS the app appears to be working properly and does NOT ask for microphone access. Also, I stated in my original review I was having issues connecting to the camera. Before writing this update I have used the new camera repeatedly by turning off and on connecting and disconnecting from the WI-FI multiple times with the camera working properly each time. Also, I mentioned in my previous review, but I thought it was worth mentioning again. I was pleasantly surprised of the video quality of the camera. I was expecting the video to be very grainy, but very surprised how good the video quality actually was. So for the new car has been working great and look forward to more fun times with it. The RC car itself worked fine, but the biggest issue is the camera and your privacy. I purchased this to drive under the crawlspace of my house. I thought it would be a good way to inspect without having to crawl under the house, but there were problems from day one and it was the camera. 1.) Phone App wants Microphone access, but does not record sound - You have to download an app (android in my case) to operate the camera and you can also control the car via the app. Once the app is installed and launched it forces you to give the app microphone access. The camera does not record sound and there is not reason for microphone access to be granted. I tried denying microphone access and the app would not work with out it. This is a huge privacy concern. 2.) The camera worked 3 out of 10 times - If you can connect to the camera and stay connected to the camera the actual quality is not that bad. After several attempts the camera would not stay connected even after rebooting the phone several times and connecting on and off to the RC Car's Wi-FI. I use my phone with other apps with camera interface like DJI, GoPro, Canon Camera and others that connect through a Wi-FI signal and no issues except this camera. Overall, the car itself isn't bad, but my issues with it was mostly the camera and app. The app may be a different for IOS, but after so many failed attempts with the camera not connecting to the app and the even larger issue with forcing microphone access it simply was worth it to me and I had to return it. In full transparency, the company reached out to me about my issues with the privacy of the app and the car I received. At the time of my original review I was using the android app and have recently switched to IOS. The company said it was an issue with the app and that the app had been updated. I can confirm for IOS the app did NOT ask for any access to my microphone and it appears to have been fixed. Also, I stated in my original review I was having issues connecting to the camera.

Nice toy. Fast. powerful, solid. if you have reasonable expectations about the camera and phone app
It is my second purchase from DEERC. The first one was DEERC DE45, and it exceeded my expectation and was an excellent purchase. Unfortunately, after a little more than a month of play, DE45 got a direct hit by a basketball, and some parts of the suspension broke. So when I started looking for a replacement toy for my kids and myself :), I decided to go with the DEERC product based on my previous experience. I bought DEERC DE36W because it has a variable throttle control and a camera. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how hefty this RC car is and how much power and torque it has. Racing it using the included remote control is a blast for any kid or adult. You can do some pretty slick tricks with it, such as J-turns at full speed and other maneuvers that are usually not doable on cheaper RC models. Camera and phone control is pretty much a gimmick. I knew it when I was buying this car, and my expectation was pretty low. After all, a good video camera like GoPro costs $400 for a reason. So if you have realistic expectations, you won't be disappointed. Don't expect to get excellent footage driving at full speed on pavement or another uneven surface. But it will work fine at home on an even surface like hardwood slowly sneaking up on a pet or a family member. Fun! The phone application is not very reliable and doesn't always connect, but you can expect video on your phone for about 20 feet (Wi-Fi range) when it does. So, if you plan to have a great race outdoors using included remote and connect it to the phone for slow crawling taking video inside your home, you will not be disappointed.

Fun RC toy car to own
This RC car is a really fun and impressive toy—super fast and comes with a built-in camera, which adds a great touch. I bought it mainly to explore hard-to-reach areas, like under my house. Out of the box, it performs well, but I did make a few custom modifications to suit my needs. The original tires didn’t handle dirt well, so I added screws for better traction. I also installed LED lights for visibility and extended the antenna to improve the signal range while using it in the crawl space. After the upgrades, it worked exactly as I needed. Great value for DIY enthusiasts or anyone who wants to get creative with their RC experience.

Great RC Truck with Cam! Recommend!
This truck build is quite sturdy. The suspension is well designed and sized, so it takes bumps and jumps very well. Amazingly, one day my son drove it off our entry way stairs (low speed walk down), each step was about 6 inches high, guess what? It made it, in roof up position. And that is phenomena. I started wondering why our real car can’t be designed like this. The truck is packed with quite decent torque capability and RC control is very responsive and fast. Once paired to a phone, the control can be more fun as you can continue to control while watch the cam view from the phone. It is awesome to send it below my real car body, and you get to see the worm view of the belly of a car when only a mechanical technician gets to see. That was pretty cool. Video quality is pretty clear. Remote control range is good. Handling 30-40 yards, no problem. Didn’t test what was the limit though. The app allows video recording. Battery last 20+ mins with heavy uphill downhill driving with camera on all the time. To me, that was outstanding performance for this price range, especially when it carries a large can on the roof. Overall it has to be a five star for this RC truck, and whoever designed and engineered apparently knows what they do. I’d recommend it!

Fun Toy for the Price! Some Practical Applications, a Good Value.
A fun Toy! For the price, this is a reasonably good product. It has its limitations, but is a reasonable value. Pros: The camera gives a good 720P picture, and delivers it to a phone or tablet at a good range. The video is not staticy, and doesnt cut out as the car moves. You can record still pictures or video from the camera onto your mobile device, for later viewing. Cool! The car is reasonably fast and can climb minor hills and negotiate small bumps well. The remote control is easy to use. Not too difficult to install the app on your IOS or Android cell phone or tablet to interface with the camera. Cons: The video has a slight time delay. When you move the car, there is a slight delay before the video updates. Maybe a quarter of a second. Not a huge problem, but noticeable. I found it very difficult to fit the battery into the battery compartment and shut the lid completely. It takes a great deal of adjusting and tweaking the wire and connector. Or you can just tape the lid shut without shutting it completely. The car does not have proportional steering. You go straight, turn full right, or turn full left. That's it. This is not surprising for an RC car in this price range, but worth mentioning, as it's not in the product description. The camera gives a great picture in decent light, but has no night vision at all. This is easily solvable if you want to drive it in low light or at night. Just tape a small flashlight or 2 to the hood and you are good to go. Instant headlights! And, if you want to be stealthy, you can use IR flashlights that humans cant see, but the camera can. Conclusion: The is a fun toy for the price! The camera adds to the fun factor alot! And, as a practical application, I used this to survey my crawlspace under my house to check out problems (was the skunk still living there?) without having to crawl down there myself. This works as long as the ground is not too rocky or irregular, as this is not a huge car and the ground clearance is limited.

A fun and tough little truck that doesn't break the bank and great customer service too!
I have owned a lot of RC cars, helicopters, and planes. Is this going to have the bells and whistles of some of the big names out there? No. However, the value you get here is honestly impressive. I wanted a small truck that could be ran in smaller areas and heck, even inside of the house as long as you don't get carried away. It's plenty fast on 2S for most people, especially if you are a beginner with RC, or have a kid who's getting into RC. I love the fact it has a ~70% mode on the remote, and then flip the switch and you can get 100% power. The integrated headlight is actually useful as well! This little truck rips for what it is, and it doesn't feel like you're beating the heck out of it. I picked up a 3S battery as well, but I have not tried it yet because it has been fun enough with the included 2S batteries. I have jumped it, rolled it, flipped it, ran it into things, and nothing has broke. The fact you get two botties and some spare parts for the money is awesome. In all fairness, I did buy two of these trucks at different times. I am writing a review on my second purchase which I sent to a friend of mine. When she received it, she stated it didn't include the second 2S battery. After emailing Hyper Go through Amazon and explaining the situation, they emailed me back that they would sent her a 3000mah 2S battery free of charge, which she just received. So not only do you get a fun entry level brushless RC car that is litterally charge and go, but you also get customer service and support. I honestly couldn't believe the response I received from them and felt that not only should I write a review about the truck, but it's important to call out thier customer service as well, since that's often lacking in companies these days. Nice job, Hyper Go!
