After a year plus of use, the cap of my Leak Shot injector cracked and became unusable. I called the company to inquire about a replacement part and they immediately sent me a new unit, additional CO2 cartridges, and even apologized for the inconvenience. The customer service team was extremely friendly and helpful and I was never put through a phone tree or required to provide anything other than the order number. I really appreciate how easy they made the entire process.

Absolutely next-level trash! Bought it for the hose and the condensate drain stopper attachments (and you could probably find them elsewhere at half the price), because the cartridge housing/trigger mechanism is ridiculous, like some cheap piece of plastic your kid might get with a McD's happy meal. The housing barely punctures the CO2 cartridges, and then they pssssssst out at wheezy low pressure without even pulling the trigger. Don't even get me started with the 'Refrigerant grade CO2' cartridges, LOL (there is no such thing, unless your AC actually uses CO2 as a refrigerant). My HVAC happy meal came with the O-ring in the neck of the CO2 cartridge holder broken, although since the O-ring serves no discernible purpose in the joke that is this product, I can't really complain about that. What I can complain about is the insultingly bad build quality - search for 'Schraeder valve CO2 inflator' and you'll find a ton of all-metal devices that do what this preposterous joke of a pseudo-product pretends to do, at 1/3 the price. Shame on everyone who brought this flimsy trinket to market.

I purchased this along with a tube of their Leak Sealer to fix a minisplit that had a small leak. I probably didn't read the listings closely enough, and the details of how to use aren't super-clear. It turns out that since I was also adding refrigerant to the system (using a tank and gauges), I didn't need a separate injector for the leak sealer. Instead, I was able to just connect the leak sealer tube inline between the gauges and the outdoor unit; the leak sealer was pushed into the unit along with the refrigerant charge. I'm returning this as I didn't need it. However, I'm leaving a review here in hopes that it will keep someone else from making the same mistake I did. And I'm still leaving 5 stars as the leak sealer is a great product and easy to use!

The O ring seems to get in it's own way a bit which is odd as it's not really needed to form an airtight seal. The cartridge screws into the head and that is what seals it. This unit was purchased to help clear the drain line for a mini-split that previously had issues draining. It seems to have cleared that issue. Time will tell if it did as good a job as the small air compressor previously used for the task. It certainly was easier to manage than a compressor. I did use three cartridges to make sure. The included cartridges are small and 16g cycling cartridges worked fine with this.

Editing my review as seller offered a full refund and a replacement gun. The replacement gun works fine. Excellent customer service! Set this near my unit in case I needed it. Unfortunately it didn't work at all when I tried to use it. It was past the return date. I think the "gun" is defective because I got no response at all when pulling the trigger. And no, it was not locked.

UPDATE: Unfortunately I was never able to use the product because of the defective CO2 gun BUT the vendor was awesome. Almost immediately after seeing my Amazon review they reached out and offered a full refund. Thank you for supporting your products!!! Bad first impression. I screwed the first canister onto the gun but didn't hear the POP or hiss the instructions said I would. So I screwed the canister on until it bottomed out but still heard nothing. As I was climbing up the RV ladder about 10 mins later I began to hear a hiss. I tried to screw the canister on tighter but the tighter I screwed it on the more rapidly the CO2 loss was. Backing it out had the same effect. By the time I was ready to inject the dye the CO2 canister was empty. Seems like the CO2 cartridges are really single use instead of getting 6-7 shots out of each. As-such, I was unable to use the gun to inject the dye/seal/dryer combo. I'll try again this evening but this time I'll wait to screw the canister on until immediately before I am ready to use it.

IT WORKS!! As first-time homeowner I had trouble with my AC condesensate line clogged. It hasn't been maintained and flushed out over a few years. I tried pouring vinegar, hot water and other AC drain products to help it flush but nothing. I found this product and decided to take a chance on it. It solved the problem in less than 30 seconds. I read and followed the instructions how to properly use it. It worked as intended and saved me $$$ having to call our HVAC tech to come out. I only had to use 1 out of the 3 Co2 tubes. We're happy to beat this high summer heat!

I bought these for the times when you just can't get to a drain plug to clear it out with ease. It works great. I just wish there was an option for half capacity canisters, as they are one-shot deal, and sometimes you just don't need the full force of a cartridge to do the job. Would prefer a variable trigger that allows one cartridge to be sparingly used between 2-3 units when it's just for maintenance sake on hard to access units (and not a full blown clog). Still a 5 star product.

Product works great. Advertising led uv light for free. Not true. They will never send it.
