Newcastle 15-Inch Underseater, Telescoping Handles, Rose Charcoal Herringbone

I really liked this little suitcase. It was also compact enough to easily slide under the middle seat of a Southwest airlines plane. The pros: * The color is lovely and the material didn't feel like plastic or cheap. * It's quite durable. It was bagged around quite a bit thru the Denver and Phoenix airports. There are no scratches or dents anywhere. * It holds a decent amount of "stuff". * The zipper pocket on the top is large enough to hold airport essentials like your ID, ticket related papers and passport. * The main compartment is roomy and the back unzips for shoes. I was able to fit pair of hiking sandals and loafers in there. In main compartment, I was able to fit 2 pairs of khakis and 2 thin shirts w a sweatshirt in it w some room to spare. If my actual purse had been smaller, it would have fit in there, too. * Since it was small enough to fit under my seat, I was able to take a regular carry-on for the overhead bin which meant no baggage claim! * It fit very nicely on top of their 21in carry-on which had the 4 wheels, so it was easy to maneuver both thru the airport. The cons: * The outside pockets are basically useless. All of them, except for the one on the top. Especially if the main compartment is packed. I put a cheap pair of flip-flops on one side and several pairs of socks on the other. There are mesh pockets inside so when you unzip the main outside pocket your stuff won't fall out. * The clear pockets on the inside are also quite useless, even for travel sized items! (see pic). If you put anything bulky in the top pocket, it's hard to zip up the flap. If you put too many items in the bottom pocket, it renders the laptop pockets useless. * The laptop pocket was wide enough for my small laptop (13in x 9in), but not deep enough. The mesh pocket is good for travel sized toiletries if you want to use that instead of the clear pockets on the flap. As nice as it would have been to have the 4 wheels as opposed to the 2, it would have been difficult (if not impossible) to put this under the seat w 4 wheels. Everything considered, I'm pleased w this purchase. It did the job it was bought for and held up nicely.

I successfully used this underneath the seat on both Frontier (middle seat) and Southwest (window seat) flights. In order to fit into the Frontier measurement bin, I did not place anything within the the front clear pockets so it would stay flat. It was tight, but fit! I was able to squeeze a 15" laptop with padded case, pair of shoes, toiletry bag, and several other items inside. There was additional space under the seat where I could have packed it down but I didn't want to take any chances on my first trip. I also included some comparison photos of other bags I considered - Bebe was too large and Kenneth Cole was too small to fit a laptop. The strap on the back is nice to place over a larger suitcase handle. The bag is beautiful and feels like really nice quality. The two wheels roll nice although four would be even better. All of the small pockets are great for organizing items like earbuds, charging cables, and tickets. I'm looking forward to using it again!

I bought this to replace one from another company which I loved until it finally tore after 4 years. Its very hard to find nice rolling briefcases for women professionals. Most are black but I got this in the rose color! My last one was a metallic beige (very nice). I ordered one by another company that was purple and had 4 roller wheels but it was too small to carry my 15 inch laptop and other stuff. This is PERFECT. Carried everything I need for work, looks professional, and can double for airline travel as a carryon also as it is large enough to hold a lot!.Doesn't have those telescoping roller wheels like some but it rolls smoothly, quietly, handled are sturdy, fabric is quality and easily wiped clean! Perfect woman's briefcase without having to look like every traveling salesperson with a plain black rolling bag.

I travel a lot for personal reasons - one long haul flight a year to Europe and several flights throughout the year to visit family. I have struggled to find the right combination of luggage and this 15 inch underseater tied it all together. For starters, it is a beautiful piece of luggage. The Rose Charcoal is just lovely and it fits quite a bit. I have already flown domestically twice with it from Northern California to Arizona and Florida. There is enough room for my toiletries and make-up, a change of clothes, snacks, my tech organizer and a sweater. One recommendation I would make for anyone considering this or any soft-sided suitcase - invest in a can of Scotchguard Fabric Protectant to keep from getting scuffs on your suitcase. If she's a beauty, take care of her!! But the thing that I am going crazy over is the fact that I can slide this baby over the adjustable handle of my 25" suitcase! It has a luggage strap across the back to keep it secure to my suitcase. The fact that I don't have to wrestle with a checked bag AND a carry-on suitcase is a game changer for me. I only need one hand to maneuver them through the airport and beyond. Fabulous!!!

Beautiful quality fabric, organization and appearance. The only disadvantage is the wheels do not move in all directions and was pricey to not have this feature

Love this underseater. It took me a while to find one to replace the one I had for over 20 years. I read the reviews about the telescopic handle and I've had no trouble with it. As long as you press in the tabs to raise and lower, it works great! It holds my tablet, charger & cords, sweatshirt, travel blanket, snacks and tickets. Perfect for me!

I received this London Fog underseat bag and thought it was a good buy. I then travelled overseas and the second day of travel the zipper did not close properly! This is most frustrating and very disappointing. I now find I’m outside of the return faulty goods window and am out of pocket because I can’t use the bag anymore because items will fall out! I would not buy London Fog again very disappointing. Not happy with Amazon either for closing the return faulty goods window. I was stuck overseas with an inferior product!
