Works for what it is needed for
The ability to adjust is easy and gives pain relief fast. The support feels amazing and the ease of use is ok. It is a little tricky. It’s also a little annoying to try to sleep in at night it’s not bulky but just awkward and after I fall asleep I wake up in the night having to rip them off. I would suggest wearing whenever resting feet instead of at night unless you can get used to it.

Good budget brace, works well with a few tweaks.
This product worked for my plantar fasciitis. It was a little difficult to figure out how to use at first but once I figured it out it worked great and healed my persistent PF in about a week only wearing it a few hours a day. I have found the best way to put this thing on is opposite what the instructions say. Fasten it snuggly but not overly tight around your toes so those are lined up correctly. Your toes should be sticking out and the strap wrapped around the ball of your foot. Then flex your foot toward your calf and fasten that. I had to bend the metal bar to a deeper angle than it came but that was easy to do and held up for a few days of stretching before bending back again and I would have to adjust. At the start, I didn't think the stretch was as deep as it should be but after wearing it the first time my foot started aching in that way that you know you are getting a good deep stretch. By the end of the week, my foot no longer ached while in the device but my pain when walking had completely disappeared as well. This device is a little less bulky than the boot style braces which is why I chose it and the padding makes it very comfortable. My toes inevitably feel asleep after a couple hours of wearing it but when that that happened I would just take it off and put it on again later in the day or the next day. This is a great budget option for people looking to try to help their foot pain before having to see an expensive specialist. It definitely worked for me!

Missing the Ball kind of sad!
Have them on currently, not bad. Hoping to see some progress I am about to turn 20… and got diagnosed with arthritis, plantar fasciitis, and heel spurs last week. I’ve bought lots of things to try so I’m hoping I out these on right and they work. Sadly enough though I am missing the ball that is supposed to come with. I was actually pretty excited to use that after I take them off and in the mornings to help stretch out some stiffness. That’s one of the reasons I bought these ones so kinda sad!

Strap not needed
Edit 11/13/2019 - When I first wrote this review, it was after purchasing the splint, and the strap immediately broke. However, the company saw my review and said they had improved the design to be stronger, and sent me a replacement. They did sent me a replacement, and the strap didn't break immediately, but the thing is... I didn't need it any more. Thing is, my heel spurs are completely gone. I wore the broken, original splint with the strap hanging loose every night for about a month and a half. Very gradually my heel started to get better. The metal bar inside the splint seems to be enough. Unlike the outerdoo splint that I also bought, the bar never broke through the cloth to poke at my leg. Also it was much more comfortable than the big bulky padded splint I also had (can't think of the name, but it is grey and wears like a boot). So I'm not sure the strap is even necessary. Anyway if the strap does break for you, *do not* try using rivets as I did. The cloth just tears around them and now the dangling strap has rivets in it. Original review: The strap that pulls your toes towards your knee broke as I was trying to bend my foot to a 90 degree angle. The fabric that goes around the ball of your foot is very cushiony and has a lot of give so I was using the strap to compensate (its purpose, I assume). But the velcro piece at the end of the strap is just glued on or something and it snapped then I used it to pull. I'm going to try using a rivet or the like to attach it back tomorrow. I still give this 3 stars because even without the strap it is better than the Outerdoo splint I was using earlier, which has less padding and jabs the top of your foot with the metal bar inside.

The most useless piece of junk ever - DON'T waste your money
Flawed design to say the least and will likely cause additional pain as it did me. I wanted to give it a try rather than using the bulky boot type supports. Not only was it ineffective because the flawed design, it caused new pain at the top of my foot. The idea is to have your toes pointed slightly upward toward your body to stretch the foot. Instead of the hard part (metal support) being at the bottom of your foot like other braces for this purpose, this was designed with the metal top of the foot with only fabric wrapping around the bottom of the foot. The fabric stretches so the top of the foot never really comes forward which is what is needed but even worse, with your foot not able to point upward toward your body the metal support digs into the top of your foot. Not only does this NOT help the bottom of the foot, it causes more pain at the top of the foot (the boney part). If you want something that effectively works, get the boot type support with the hard bottom that goes from your toes, around. your heels and up the back of the calf with straps on top of your foot and the front of your leg. I've had issues with heel spurs on and off for years.... the boot type with hard bottom and straps on top of the foot is the only effective design. I'm not saying the boot type with the hard bottom will be comfortable to sleep with but it will certainly be more effective than this very flawed useless thing. Don't waste a dime on this one.

Maybe ok on a smaller than size 12 foot.
Too small, barely fits my foot. And, the strap to hold the foot at the proper angle is too long, I can't get it to pull my foot up enough. There is only a little piece of velcro at the bottom of the strap, not enough to trim for a better pull on the foot.

Helpful for painful foot issue
I ordered this product after not a ton of research, but thanks to some helpful reviews and am happy to say it has helped me in a short amount of time. The bottom of my foot all of a sudden developed this sharp pain when I took a stride - from the arch to the tops and bottom of my toes. It happened suddenly, and was excruciating. I bought this and not only does the brace work, but that little massage ball included did wonders. I found my foot is improving by keeping it at a 90 degree angle to my calf. This is after about 10 days. Maintaining that position is the key benefit of this brace. It is best for resting or sleeping, but when my foot hurt most it actually helped when I was just slowly walking around inside with it on. I will say the trick for me is to not make it too tight or extreme. Really just keeping the foot at 90 degrees comfortably, not trying to overstretch it. Great product. Probably the main thing improving my foot besides icing it, rolling it on the ball it comes with, and trying to stay off it as much as possible.

Relief from ankle and leg pain
I’ve only used this for a couple of nights, but it really seems to help. It’s very comfortable and easy to put on. I have flat feet, which stresses the ankle and calf muscles. I’ve used medications, heat pads, stretching, massage, but at night I sometimes had cramps in the calf and locking up of the ankle. This splint keeps my ankle in the correct position, my calf feels more relaxed, and in the morning my leg feels much better. I’m amazed at the relief from pain. Edit to update: I’m still using this every night, and I have had NO pain in my leg. What a relief! Easy to slip on, and stays on all night. The toe straps do not need to be loosened to put on or take off, just the calf strap. Update 6/23 yes the Velcro will sometimes unstick, or gets clogged, or stops sticking. I added another piece of Velcro, and pick out any fibers, hair, lint, whatever. I plan to add a strap to make the Velcro more secure. But I’ve used this every night for more than 2 years and I believe it helped a lot.
