These lights work well and are easy to install. They also came already charged so could be used straight away. They light up the sitting area and steps really well and for a long period of time.

I bought two packs of 8, really just in case some didn't work. They all worked. Putting them on the fence was quite easy. You need to take the plastic cover off, because the screw/screw holes are inside the case. It says use a screwdriver to prize off the transparent plastic cover, but I got them off easily by pushing gently on the bottom of the transparent plastic cover at the bottom. The screws that come with it have small Philips heads, so make sure you have a screwdriver or drill bit that is small enough to fit the screws or you will strip them. I charged in full sunlight for 6 hours before putting them on the fence. You will need to take the plastic cover off each light and flick the little slider switch to on... otherwise they won't charge up. They all come with the switch off. This being said, this gives practice getting the plastic transparent covers off and on. I am not a great handyman, but I put up all the lights you see in the picture in about an hour and a half. I judged about 2.5 cm about an inch from the top of the fence and in that way they were all straight. They work out at something like £2.50 a light, so good value. They also cast a nice pattern. Im not sure how waterproof they will be, but time will tell. Don't expect something really solid/substantial, but they do the job. So... Im pleased with the lights and will probably buy more for the other side of the garden.

These are good little lights that were easy to install. We have a dark area of pathway at night where I struggle to see the dogs & these lights have worked a treat in giving that bit of light needed so that there are no dark spots now. They look good & the light pattern that they display on a dark pathway at night is interesting. Sadly, only three of the four light worked but the three that were working were sufficient for what I needed so I didn't bother returning. They charge with the sun when it decides to put in an appearance & it seems to be sufficiently charged gto carry for the dull days so far. They are inexpensive lights so have given good value for the good light they provide.

I have just got these lights and only one works and one broke when trying to open it

Honestly I have had brighter things (in terms of glow and intelligence) come out my bottom. Now I know it is winter and I know the weather is pretty dull but I would expect after a few days at least a bit of light out of these lights. Nope, nada, a beam of light so weak the wind was blowing it out the way. I thought if I wore my three wolves moon t-shirt and stood by the light that may get it out of a slumber mode. Instead the wolves on my tee-short went into hibernation! There is a saying "buy cheap, buy twice". Well in this instance, it is buy cheap don't ever buy again. I've decided rather than fence lights to douse my fence in paraffin every night, set fire to it and replace the fence the next day and repeat. Yes a bit of a drastic more expensive option but it is the only way I can purge the woefully torridly cringingly sloth-like poor attempt of light from these pieces of plastic from my mind. They were well package and arrived undelivered on the second attempt after the first courier left the first package in the full bin at the roadside on bin collection day!

Very good service

Four solar lights which affix with the solar panel at 90 degrees to the light emitted. They are a little fiddly to mount, but once the mountings are screwed to a surface, the covers attach/detach easily. The plastic covers project the light in a ray-like pattern which is pretty on a plain surface. They are compact and discrete to look at in the daytime. There are clear instructions included - mine are mounted on SE facing fence panels and have stored enough energy to illuminate for hours into the night. I love them!

Apres plusieurs semaines d'utilisation je peux dire que la durée de la charge est nsuffisante. Même après toute la journée au soleil, l'éclairage ne fonctionne que 2 à 3h maximum. Le petit panneau solaire est nettoyé toutes les semaines mais la pile n'est pas suffisante, il faut une.pile de plus de capacité de charge.

Very poor quality, not waterproof, it will not give light at night for 1hr even. Need Rs.999.00 in Amazon account

Cheap solar panel..darkened after 3 months...not working...
