My granddaughter is 3 and has loved the Duck & Goose books since we read our fist one her first Easter. She is captivated with each one but the“…..Go To The Beach” is by far the favorite. The illustrations are so good we always add to the story!! Great buy that has created memories that will last a lifetime♥️

Love this series 💞
My best friend from high school and I bonded over these books for some reason lol. We even refer each other as “Duck”- me and “Goose”- her.I’ve gifted a few of the books to her & her kiddos over the years and they’re always a hit!

Awesome book
My granddaughter and I love to read about the adventures of Duck & Goose together. She saw this book on the back of another book we had, and really needed Grandma to buy it! It is a fun book.

Perfect for 2-year-old's first trip to the beach!
I got this book for my 2-year-old daughter in preparation for our family vacation to Hawaii, which was her first time going to the beach. This book introduced the concept of not only the beach but also going on a trip away from home, and it got her very excited about seeing new things and having new experiences before our trip. She memorized the whole book word-for-word within days, and she recited it constantly while we were in Hawaii. This book also convinced my daughter to wear a sun hat! She had always hated wearing hats, but I pointed out that Duck and Goose both wear hats on their adventure, and now she begs to wear her sun hat, which she calls her "Duck and Goose hat".My only gripe with this book is that Duck and Goose are both boys. The Duck and Goose board books are all gender neutral with no gender-specific pronouns, which I really appreciate, as I like my daughter to read books featuring both boys and girls. Since Duck and Goose are her favorite book characters, I have always read them with Duck being a girl and Goose a boy. In "Duck and Goose Go to the Beach", I had to change the pronouns to make Duck a girl. Not a big deal, but I had always thought that Duck and Goose were purposefully written so they could be any gender. Also, I'll add that I really like reading this book. Anytime my daughter gets a new book, she demands that I read it dozens of times a day, over and over until she memorizes it, which is usually extremely tedious and sets my teeth on edge. But this book is actually really fun to read, and I don't get tired of it nearly as much as with other books.

Cute Story
This is a cute story for a kid who is 3 or older, it is a little wordy for my 1.5 year old, but he does like the pictures. My 3 year old enjoys it.

Ready for the Sun? Go on a Grand Adventure to get there!
This book was so fun to read and my daughter and students flip through the pages constantly. We were able to make sand and talk about the beach on a snowy day. And of course all of us Mommies were day dreaming of going on our own adventure to get there! Tad Hill does a fabulous job of giving great vocabulary to his books as well as beautiful illustrations! My classes and clients love talking about Duck and Goose and I use a plethora of these books in class.
