The high rise makes it easier to get on and off. Especially after a long training session.

Can you adjust the tension on the rowing machine to make it more difficult ?

You cannot adjust the tension. These rowers are build to feel natural. So like water, the harder you row, the harder it fights back.

Can it be used in a space 9 feet long by 3 1/2 feet wide? Want to get a rower for an apartment, and space is tight.

Yes! The space will be a little tight to walk around the tank, but you'll make it with a little bit of clearance to spare. I have mine tucked behind my couch with similar clearance. As long as it's not a high traffic area, you'll be fine.

Does it came unassembly?, wich are the meassurements of the boxes?

Yes it comes unassembled. All you are really doing is adding the legs on which come in a separate box.
