100% Fluorocarbon Fishing Line, Pro Grade Leader or Main

Strong, dependable leader material that held up much better than my previous setup when bottom fishing around rough reef structure. PROS: Strong knot performance: Easy to tie solid, reliable knots without slipping Good abrasion resistance: Held up well against reef structure where lighter leader was getting shredded Right amount of stiffness: Stiff enough to avoid tangles and kinks, but still easy to work with Versatile use: Works well both as a leader and as a transition section from braided main line Low visibility: The pink tint becomes nearly transparent in the water, which I like for clear-water fishing CONS: Goes quickly: If you fish often or retie frequently, you’ll go through it faster than expected for the price Real-world use: I used the 100 lb test for the first time last weekend bottom fishing offshore in Florida. I fished the same reef spot where the previous week I lost 3–4 fish due to tackle failures (hooks, swivels, and leader getting cut up on the structure). That trip I was using 80 lb leader and it wasn’t holding up. With this leader material, I only had one break-off, and that was because the fish got under the boat in heavy current—not because the leader failed. That’s a major improvement in the exact same conditions. If you’re fishing reefs, wrecks, or other abrasive structure and need a strong fluorocarbon-style leader that ties well and resists damage, this is a solid option. I’ll definitely be buying it again.

I have started to purchase most of my fishing line from Reaction Tackle with its competitive pricing and excellent quality. The fluorocarbon 40 lb test line is great although I have begun crimping it instead of tying knots and find it works better on heavier weight line. I would buy it again.

This line is so strong. We have porch canopy tied down with this and is hardly detectable in daytime. Practically invisible from distance away. Sturdy enough to hold down canopy with 30-35 mph we've had with no stretch at all. I'm sure. In time, we'll find dozen of projects to use thus for including fishing... this is great product for various projects.

It’s good

Nice line as expected. Overall outlook on the product: Great, would buy again. I uploaded some photos and video. Quality: Appears to be solidly made. This is a day one unboxing review so i cant speak to longevity of the product but from initial review there are no problems noted. Colors vibrant, matches listing. Easy to use for the products intended purpose. Functionality: Works as described on listing. No issues found so far. Timely shipping: Yes, arrived via the prime shipping time window.

Ships fast and well packaged. Quality line with great control.

Very happy with this leader material. It is strong and ties well.1st time using pink fluorocarbon leader but even though it has a tint of color it is very very clear. This line totally disappears in lightly stained saltwater that I fished this afternoon. Had plenty of hits from small Fluke even into darkness they were still hitting my jigs. Fished only an hour and half but the number of hits was impressive

Tied a lot of salmon hoochie leaders with this. Never lost any gear or fish. Knots held well and seemed to provide good action from the flasher to the hoochie.
