About me:I’m 5’3, 160 pounds. I’m an upside down triangle (big breasted with more fat on the arms and back) and smaller waist and athletic legs. On my “fat” days, I’m a 38 D. I’m 40 years old but age doesn’t matter, right?!What I needed: I struggle to find control for the girls and need my back to be smoothed out because I hate it when I get rolls when I wear any type of bra – even if I’m fitted properly…I get rolls above and below my bra line, UGH!!!I also was not looking for a girdle-type affect. I wasn’t expecting to go down in sizes – just want smoothness and firm control. I find it hilarious that some of the comments here were expecting such.It is so very difficult to find the “perfect” body shaper but honestly, without trying it on, it is a hit or miss. Here is what I found for myselfThe cup size is perfect and true to size. It has some padding (not of the heavy variety) but being that my GIRLS are already on the WOW side, less padding is best for me. However, it does the extra padding gives them a nice soft shape and lift.The fabric is soft to the touch. I stepped into the body shaper expecting to wrestle my way in it – I even prayed a bit before pulling it up but surprisingly, it went up nicely. Of course, lots of pinching and pulling here and there until I got it over my butt, stomach, and boobs but I didn’t curse my way into it or break a nail. And it didn’t take over 5 minutes to fully adjust everything. I looked in the mirror and saw that it did smooth everything out including my back. It didn’t give the double boob look either. The stomach area does have a double liner so there IS CONTROL. For those saying "it's not holding my stomach in", gurl...it didn't suck or flatten mine either; you are round and bodacious that's all. This garment smoooooths you out and works with what YOU have.The crotch area didn’t give me issues and is comfortable to wear. It does have several hook options for height adjustment but If you are very tall (umm over 5’8/ 5’9 or above) there might be issues because I played around with it and it didn’t make such a huge difference.So I give it 4 stars because I really like it. It didn't wow me nor is it the best I've ever had. For me, this one is good...not perfect, but good. It is well made, the cups fit nicely with relatively good coverage and a light lining in the cup. The legs are not cut as high as I like, but the flat fabric at the leg does not leave a panty line, so they are fine. It smooths me out everywhere I wanted it to and is comfortable to wear all day so it's doing it's job nicely.I ordered both the tan and black one. I’m glad it fit nicely and didn’t have to return both of them. If you do need to return them. They offer free returns, which is great otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered.If you found this review helpful, click YES!No, I did not receive this item for a discount. I loved everything about this shaper. The material is great, the color is perfect, and the bra had underwire and a shaped cup with slight padding. EXCEPT THE SEAM IS VISIBLE!! See picture! This was a complete deal breaker for me, I am returning it. Why would the designers do this? If you are going to be wearing something tight, or white like me, the seam is a dead giveaway you have a shaper on, pick something else.

Im a bit of a connoisseur for good shapewear--and I wear it eveyday. It makes ALL of your clothes look better and more expensive. Trust me.My rules: it must be comfortable, hold up to a lot of wear and washing, and be NEVER EVER pinch or make lines, which defeats the purpose of a smoothing effect. I also loathe bras bc of the pinching effect (oh god backfat is the worst!!!)--so I try to find the tops with built in cups and I just add padding or pasties as needed.Generally, I love this line from maidenform and have quite a few pieces. This line is high quality and clothes just glide over the fabric which smooths things out. It's also the right price.But I was disappointed by this piece. The top on this was great (no weird cone-shape bust), but I couldn't wear these with pants bc of the panty lines. For a loose fitting dress, probably would be fine, but I returned them bc I like versatility in my shapewear.I should note that I'm 5'11" and a size 16-18 and I got the XXL, which fit perfectly. But the panty lines were a deal breaker.

It is Maidenform. Have a lot of bras from this co and they fit very well. Bought the 34c as thats tge bra size i wear, but not overflowing a c cup. My waist is 28 in 136 lbs. 5.3 in heightalrhough gained weight a lot. Wt mostly on my thighs. Broad and muscular arms. Still fit into a sz 6 US dress. So this undergarment has the right amt of hold without having back fat pouching out. Easiest to fet in and out placing yoyr legs inand pulling up or down. Added a picture. Please dont mind all of my boyfriends junk around the room in his home! Just couldnt wait to place pic with review!

I was hesitant to buy because I was afraid it would be uncomfortable. I wear a size 12 and bought the 38 it was not too tight and yet it smooth out the bumps.I also have a long torso and had no problem pulling. It is very soft I would recommend this

Just what I needed - something to wear under white summer tops. I looked high and low for one with moulded cups and no fancy lace bits to make ridges. This is also long enough for me ( I am quite tall). It's beautifully made. Not a glamour garment, as others have pointed out, but then I didn't want one of those!

If you're looking for a control body this isn't it. Padded but ill fitting bra section and although full cup very loose. The body section itself has little control. Wouldn't rate this for any wow factor or for under dress shaping

My wife loves this shaper and has found it very comfortable and is likely to buy another. It smooths out those lumps and bumps perfectly.

not so much small as extremely short & I am 5.5 the bust area only came up to half way between waist and bust you would have to be a very short person for this to fit

I am 5'10 so would of liked it slightly longer in the body but still fits well, lovely and smooth under a tight dress and smooth back too as no fastening. Would happily recommend

I paid a little more than usual for this one and it was worth it. Superior quality and fit while giving good medium control, soft to the touch with lots of Lycra. Will get another one!

Cup size very good . Body needed to be tighter fit , didn't hold in . Very comfortable. Material very soft and nice to wear. Seams on front of garment show through on fitted shift style dresses . Good on other styles .Delivery was quick , no hassle . Parcel left in good condition
