I didn't expect such a quality, well-made product for under $10. Feels weighty/hefty and durable--almost feels like a nautical device. It does EVERYTHING I wanted it to and seems accurate. I checked it against the PSI my truck displays for my tires and it matched, spot on! Also, I got this mainly because I run a disk wheel on my bicycle and the area where I have to jam a pump head into is very narrow and has low clearance--most of the other gauges won't fit in the tight spot. This one does quite easily and that the head of it spins 360deg is super helpful. I may buy a 2nd one as a backup just to keep as a traveling back-up.

This is a high quality tire pressure gauge which is easy and more comfortable to use than a standard stick-type gauge. It is made of brass, and when you gauge the tire pressure, it is retained in the display until you depressurize/reset it using the button on the stem.

As many reviewers state, this is a quality and accurate tire gauge. The dial is very easy to read. I especially like that the pressure reading remains on the scale until you release it with the side button, The rubber housing (case) not only makes the gauge easy to hold, it protects the gauge against drops. Definitely worth the price.

Because gauge was inaccurate I returned product and received credit and rated it as a 1 star. The seller contacted me directly and apologized for the defect. They assured me that they take great pride in their products and offered to send me a replacement. As I already returned the product I told them it was unnecessary. I was so impressed by their response I decided to give them another try. I ordered the same product again. I received product and was satisfied with its accuracy. I like the product because it will accurately show pressures up to 170 psi that cover many applications. Changed rating to 5 stars for a satisfactory product but mostly because of customer service. The AstroAl Tire Pressure Gauge attracted my attention due to its design, it looks like a minature tire. Cute. So, I had to order it, out of curiosity, and the need for a gauge. The key feature is that it holds the reading of the pressure until the release button is pressed. You can remove it from the valve stem and review the pressure, instead of keeping it on the stem, losing air as you go. It appears to measure accurately to the pound. The illuminating dial is somewhat helpful, in darker conditions. The swivel head took some adjusting on my part on how hold it directly on the stem to avoid losing pressure. The last notable item is its size. It is slightly larger than the typical pressure gauge, which makes it harder to lose. Unlike smaller ones that can slip easily between the seats and/or disappear in the glove compartment. I always know where this one is due to its size. Overall, this gauge is a keeper, slightly higher in price, but more interesting and functional to have.
