Good tires at a very good price, date codes on mine show a little over a year old.
Of course this is a good quality tire with overall good performance reviews, no complaints there. I don't know if people generally know why a name brand tire would be on Amazon for half the price of retail, but it's usually because it's old stock - some big warehouse ordered too much, then had to wholesale it out before it aged out. Most places don't like to stock tires more than 18 months old. I got these in December '25, and the date code on the tires show they were manufactured in November '24, so still just fine. They mounted and balanced well, no problems.

Nervous to purchase tires from Amazon, NO REGRETS though!
My local shops were quoting me 750-1200 for new tires on my older Chevy I am gifting to my baby siblings starting to drive, but I was trying to be cost effective. So I ordered them on Amazon after reading reviews, and the local shop only charged me just the minimum to put them on and I drove a 140 miles round trip to test them out, and the kids have driven all weekend with zero problems. Has made the truck much smoother! A big noticeable different to the bald ones I had before, for sure. One of the genuinely great purchases I have been happy with from Amazon. I looked at quite a few times, and I recommend these the most!

Good value
The tires fit my older car, 1996 VW Passat TDI. They also fit other VWs of the same vintage and old Volvos. With few choices in my price range these are working well so far but only have 1500 miles on them more or less. No issues now I've had them through dry and wet but I'm not pushing the car or the tires because I have better things to spend my money on than tires. If you don't push your car you will likely be satisfied with these.
