Great Value for the Cost
For short attention-spanned customers: low cost with great functionality; it will do the job exceptionally good. Looks good and small to carry everywhere. For everyone else: Pros: very affordable and functional. Sleek looking, honestly. Included sleeve to carry it around with your laptop. Lots of connectivity including different SD card types. LED lights to notify connections. Power through is amazing, even for non-thunderbolt connections such as surface laptop 3 like mine. Cons (recommendations)- gets slightly warm on the casing when connected to 4K external monitor and gigabit ethernet (receiving ~800mbps). Connector cable could have been longer; device could have been heavier or have rubber bottom so the device could stay stationed on surfaces - I fear after a while the connector cable ends to the laptop or the hub itselfbwould kink and lose connectivity eventually. Could have included at least another output (power or data) type C female USB so I could connect an external device or charge.

Good Docking Station for Lenovo C740
I needed a docking station for my new C740 so I could get an extended display onto a monitor while still working on my laptop. The Lenovo docking stations are over $200 and I was not going to spend that kind of money. This compact USB C Hub/ Dongle Docking Station has worked perfectly. I have a monitor hooked up to it as well as a mouse and audio device, and everything is working exactly as I had hoped. The display looks great and I have had no issues with peripherals. The C740 only has two USB ports, so the ports available on the dongle are certainly a plus. The dongle connects via USB C, which the C740 has two of. I can then plug my a/c adaptor for the Lenovo directly into the dongle and it still charges the laptop. The only downside I see on this product is the length of the USB C cable that comes out of the dongle and into the laptop. It is only about four inches. This means that all cords have to come up directly to the laptop; I had t do quite a bit of rearranging and cable management to keep the desk organized. If the cord from the dongle to the laptop was longer, even by just a foot or two, it would do wonders for cable management. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this for someone with a C740 that needs to display onto another device but doesnt want to pay the price on an OEM docking station

High quality USB-C hub
This Configear hub is finished in a matte aluminum body and has a compact form factor that's ideal for many situations. Gigabit ethernet and backward-compatible USB 2.0/3.0 ports work well. Overall, you get a plethora of functionality packed into a svelte hub. Power delivery works, however, the Lenovo Yoga C940 seems to have some difficulty receiving power delivery (from any USB hub) after certain power disruption events. That does not appear to be the fault of the Configear hub. It is important to remember to disable always-on USB power if you do not intend to power devices via this hub while your machine is powered off.

Perfect docking station
This item is awesome. I have a new Surface Pro. Most connectors wouldn’t work using a USB C or they only had one or two USB ports. I was able to hook my TV, cable, keyboard, and mouse to my Surface tablet. Plus I had remaining ports open that I could use if I want. I can charge my phone, use memory sticks, or even hard wire to the internet. Great price too. Other like items (that offer less) cost a lot more. Great gift for my son who will be entering college in the fall!

11-in-1 USB Type-C Hub at a great Price !!
Update 08-Jan-2020: Came back to review that this device has been performing absolutely great for the last three months. With continued use over a few hours it gets very mildly warm but that's about it. Oct-2019: I chose this Configear 11-in-1 USB Type-C hub seeing the number of ports it has. Some other models (brands) had either a VGA or a HDMI but not both at this price ! Pros: Amazon delivered on time. Packaging was nice. Product packaging is great too. Also has a small velvet carry pouch for the hub. Build quality feels good and is not featherweight like the other one I purchased earlier and had to return as it happened to be faulty too. Used it briefly for a day now, but tested most of the ports and all are working just fine. There was no heating of the hub or no buzzing sound. Overall very happy with the purchase. Cons: None as of now. Will use for a month and review again if any issues.

Requires power adapter for full functionality (sold separately)
I liked that it was a lightweight travel-sized docking station and had a good price. I don't like how it has a port hole for A/C power adapter, but the power adapter isn't included. Trying to find the exact right match is both difficult (hard to know what size the hole is, what the Volts and Amps you're looking for in the adapter so it provides enough power but doesn't fry the electronic, etc) and expensive (retail prices are much more expensive than wholesale prices especially since it's almost a specialty item and additional shipping is built in; with economies of scale the seller could easily get them for maybe $1 or $2 and resell at $3 included, but would want to make it $5-$10 when selling separately to cover shipping). Why does the A/C power adapter matter? Well, if you start trying to use it with long cables, with multiple power-hungry peripherals (eg external HDs that rely on the USB for power and don't have their own power adapter), etc. it'll fail. As it did for me. Could I not plug its every hole and not use long cables? I could, and it would work... but it then it would fail as a convenient docking station/hub which is what I used it for (my triple display would flicker, the external HDs couldn't read and the mouse and keyboard intermittently failed). However, if you're only planning on using it because your laptop doesn't have ports you need it to (RJ-45, SD card, etc.) then this works just fine.
