I really love mixing my fertilizers in a 5 gallon bucket of water and stirring that and pouring that into my plants for watering I do occasionally put this on a soil amendment or mixed in with the dirt but for the most part I'm using this post-planting and just watering my plants with the solution that also includes nitrogen and phosphorus. I always find that the K in the NPK formula is always in the high potency 40 to 50 whereas when you're looking at nitrogen it's around the 10 to 14 so make sure when you're mixing when you're working looking at your formulas you're going to need a lot more of the other elements because this is potent even in small quantities. And though most fert companies sell now in a bag. I would prefer a plastic jar with a plastic lid that you unthread and you can cleanly scoop out of it, instead of having to coat your hand in fertilizer to get to the bottom of the bag with a scoop.

I like using organic fertilizer but have found a local store that sells it and it’s cheaper. Like most organic fertilizers it takes time for the soil microbes to break it down, so it should be added weeks before planting.

Growing tomatoes in 10-gallon grow bags. Used 6 tablespoons dissolved in a gallon of water, poured half a gallon per grow bag. It's not completely water-soluble but it does homogenize nicely. My tomatoes went from producing 1 or 2 fruits here and there to producing clusters of fruits. Glad I found this stuff.
