What is the differences between platinium and 10 series   please ??

I have a chart with the differences. Platinum has Morning Hypertension Indicator, Morning Average/Week, storage case, and an available optional cuff. Last, the 10 series has an ‘Easy-Wrap ComFit 9"-17"’ cuff, while the Platinum has a ‘Wide-Range D-Ring 9”-17”’ cuff. I picked the 10 because its cuff name has the word Easy in it, seriously :) I think its cuff probably has more of a pre-formed curve. I do like it.

Does anyone make a case for this style?

There is a co2crea brand case that sells for about $19.95. It fits perfectly. The other co2crea case for $10.99 does not fit the Omron BP7450 model

Does the unit self calibrate?  My Dr. does not believe this is accurate and wants me to buy another.

This is one of the best rated BP monitors. I did my research before purchasing and i will tell you this is the one to have It is factory calibrated and does not need self calibration as it has an average mode which takes 3 consecutive readings and provides the average. instead of buying a new one see if a friend has one and try theirs and compare readings. We have three different brands in our house and this one is the most consistent and accurate

Does this pair with the Kardia App?

Not with the Kardia 6L.  It used to but Omron "did a software improvement" which eliminated that feature among others.  Since that software upgrade, the ability to download data to a phone is terrible.  Sometimes works but not all the time.  Then, when you eventually get to Omron Customer Service for help, you have to lose all of the data to get things working again.  A VERY UNRELIABLE upgrade and no longer can trust the Omron ability to retain and transfer data from the BP7450 unit.
