Omnisax Garden Party Pouch Set (Includes 5 Bags)

These bags are very durable. The bags themselves are very light and can be rolled into a compact form that will fit easily in a purse or pocket but each bag will hold up to 45 lbs. I've had a set in another (sadly discontinued) pattern made by the same company (when they went under the name "Envirosax") out of the same material since the 1990's and the bags have stood up exceptionally well to regular use. Mainly I use the bags for shopping but I've used them for picnics, to carry stuff to the beach or park, to hold my gardening tools, etc. and they are easy to wash and seem to resist staining well. They look as good as new after more than 15 years and I still regularly receive many compliments on them. I bought this set ("Garden Party") for my mother (to replace a set that was stolen from her car) so chose one that fits her style and the pattern isn't really to my personal taste. However, the colors are much more attractive than I expected from looking at the picture on a computer/Kindle screen. One warning about these sets: the company used to sell replacement pouches (the one thing that many of the people I've given sets to have misplaced.. leaving them in check out lines etc. over the years) but they seem to, at least currently, have stopped doing so. Not an problem if one plans on keeping individual bags in the glove compartment/purse/etc. but personally I find the pouch very handy to carry a full set to the grocery store on a weekly shopping trip. Having said that, I still have the pouch from my original set so I suppose whether this is an issue depends on how easily one becomes accustomed to checking that one has any unused bags and the pouch before leaving the store.

just opened, threads like crazy on the outside, no picture inside showing the 5 different bags, so looks like my daughter will have something else to complain about, very disappointed, I'm sure they will be used, just hope it was worth the price.

No matter where I pull these out the cashier and often other customers comment on how pretty they are and what a great idea. I use them practically every day for all shopping, not just groceries, and hope more people will start using them as well to help eliminate store plastic bags. They fold up easily to fit in your pocketbook ready for their next use. There are a variety of patterns to chose from. You'll love them!

These are the best bags ever! I use them all the time. They roll up neatly and small enough in the pouch to leave in the car. The are machine washable. I get compliments on them everytime I go to the store. They hold a ton for groceries also :) GREAT BAGS!

Beautiful, practical, high quality, good price. What else is there to say? My town in Oregon requires us to bring our own bags now, and these are a great solution.

Love these Omnisax. They roll up into small tubes taking up no room in your purse, pocket or glove compartment. Unfolded they are large and can support 44 lbs. Perfect for groceries or in my case quilt supplies. When I leave the house.....I have at least 1 of these Omnisax in my purse.

I think this is the third time I am ordering them only because I give away mine to family and friends. The best thing ever. You can completely rely on the description provided. My only wish is to have them in a more environmentally friendly material other than the polyester version!
