I order these so much I should own a sunflower seed plant.
David’s Original Sunflower Seeds are a classic snack that never disappoints. The seeds are perfectly roasted and have just the right amount of salt, making them incredibly flavorful and satisfying. They’re a great option for anyone looking for a crunchy, savory snack that’s also fun to eat. The resealable packaging helps keep them fresh, even after opening. I love how long they last too—it’s a snack you can enjoy over time without finishing in one sitting. They're especially great for road trips, sports games, or just to keep at your desk. The quality is consistent, and you always know what you're getting. Overall, David’s sunflower seeds are a reliable and delicious choice for any seed lover.

Consistently Great
I've been ordering these sunflower seeds for quite some time now, and they never disappoint! The bags keep fresh, there's a solid quantity of seeds in each bag, and the taste is great from the first to the last seed. One unexpected pro is that the box that they come in is very sturdy; since they're a bunch of individual bags, it's nice to not have to keep them all scattered about. A very minor, but unexpected down side is that once in a while you'll get an unopened bag that requires a bit of extra force or additional steps to open -- a word from the now-wise: Keep a pair of scissors nearby for these lest you risk sunflowers all over your floor!

Stale seeds. This brand in general is a 5 star, this shipment they sent is a 1 star
Disappointing. David seeds THEMSELVES have a fresh flavor. They are a brand I typically trust for quality. The jumbo sized seeds are even better as they result in larger tasty kernels. I have not found a better brand so far. However, this purchase of bulk bag seeds was disappointing. The seeds have a noticeable stale smell, and the bag and smell affect the flavor. I now have 12 bags of unsatisfying seeds. I will keep in mind in the future that at the time of buying these, the date claims these are best by seven months from now. I have to wonder at what point do the seeds taste fresh like the David's seeds I love. In the future i need to inspect them and make sure that the seeds are better for a longer date. Should they be best by 8 months? Should they be fresh at 9 months? I should review these seeds in seven months. To summarize, the seeds claimed best by seven months from when I bought them. But the smell is stale just two bags in. Can you make this right David's? Please send a new one. I am asking for a handout,(free seeds, maybe a coupon?) but people need to know. These seeds are typically amazing and people need to know they are tasty. I want to buy MORE! Just not from this seller. UPDATE: After opening around four bags, two out of four bags do smell fresh. This would have been 5 stars!!!

Great value!
I only wish that they sold multi-pound sacks of seeds!

I am so glad that these are available on Amazon because they haven't been available in any of my local Canadian stores for the last 15 years at least. David's are the best. Of course, there are always a small handful of dud seeds in any package but, the overwhelming majority are perfectly fine and crunchy. No packages were expired. Have ordered two Original, 5.25 Ounce (Pack of 12) so far with no complaints.

These are the Best Sunflower seeds ever. They used to be sold in Canada, and then they stopped distributing them here and my world became very sad. Now, at least, I can get them on Amazon. This last batch had a weird thing happening with the bags, where the zip-like seal was actually stronger than the glue holding the zip in place... so when you opened the bag, you basically broke it and could not reseal it afterwards. Other than that, the seeds were as delicious as ever!! Edit: I ordered another box (12 bags) this month and the quality of the seeds is disappointing. The sunflower seeds taste a little stale and they still have the old bags (logo). I bought some David's bags in Florida last month and they tasted much better! I get the feeling I got sold "old" bags this time on Amazon. Not cool. Especially since I can't go to the store here and get them.

These are excellent, but the resealable bag is poor. They go stale if not eaten right away
