Dewalt 60volt Blower
This is the best blower I have ever used. Super powerful and really convenient compared to a gas blower. All I ever used was a gas blower and trimmer and always said I would never NOT use a gas blower or trimmer……well not anymore. After constantly messing with gas mixtures and pulling the start rope over and over and trying to figure out why I was still messing with this gas engine and it always finds some reason not to start….I decided to give this a try. So glad I did, this thing is my favorite tool and the trimmer is also awesome. I’m now a battery guy…no more gas. I can’t tell how nice it is just to go out and grab the tool and start going. You will love it….and more powerful than my gas blower.

Beast, but it doesn’t last long.
Have Never used a gas backpack w/ the power this thing has. Red max or echo doesn’t make a model this powerful. That said it runs on a battery so it’s got a short life -25 minutes is as long as it will run at full power. Thats not bad for a battery powered blower. A single 9ah battery is upwards of $150 and I wouldn’t use the 6ah on this unit, as it doesn’t last long enough imo. Another issue w/ battery blowers is they consume the lifespan of a battery faster than any other cordless tool. This applies to most battery blowers but dewalt flexvolt batteries are some of the most expensive batteries on any platform and I would say they don’t fair better. It comes w/ a 9ah flexvolt battery but no fast charger. I don’t know why it wasn’t included? Battery charger in my box doesn’t support battery it came w/. The company included a 115, which is a 20 volt charger. Good charger but wrong platform . It’s kinda heavy but manageable with one hand but they included in design a rear handle so that you can use both hands, which is useful at times. They made improvements to the intake- it being right under the trigger which happens to be the safest And place for it. This way it doesn’t matter whether you are right or left handed, as it won’t pull your pants in. So many hand held blowers have this issue. The 20 volt max had this design flaw and even though 9% of the population is lefty. Dewalt put intake on the left so when holding in your right hand it always got stuck On clothing the moment you stopped holding it away from yourself, which is unnatural. At least that unit was lightweight and fairly inexpensive. This unit is absolutely worth the investment if you have quick cleanups. I use it to clean up job sites, the customers driveway or deck as an added touch, and in my shop 4 sawdust & things like that. I can do a small yard of leaves b4 battery goes but I have like 6 of these batteries. If not a contractor something to consider but for power which is most important imo, and convenience this is best battery powered blower on the market. Don’t waste time debating between other dewalt models, they don’t compare! The original flexvolt, 20v max, and 20v XR aren’t comparable. I never used the 40v but the battery is useless otherwise. At least DeWALT can now say Milwaukee doesn’t have the best blower on the market.

Surprisingly powerful and a must have outdoor power tool
Prior user of craftsman gas and electric blowers and was in the market for a replacement. After much research I settled on this Dewalt model and glad I did. Having other Dewalt 60v outdoor power tools I was drawn to the advantage of being able to use and interchange the batteries I had already invested in. Overall I am pleased with this unit and would purchase again or recommend without hesitation. Unlike others I was actually surprised at how much run time you could get out of one battery and was expecting less. My only complaint is the balancing of the unit feels off to me and slightly awkward because all of the weight is at the very end instead of being balanced under your hand. This units power is impressive, no issues moving standing water or blowing leaves/pine staw across the lawn. If your on the fence about this purchase just go ahead and buy then thank me later. Tips: - try pulsing trigger and not continously blowing the entire time to maximize run time - would probably recommend 1 large 60v flex volt battery per acre (give or take based upon your blowing needs) - some of the blowers have similar nozzle sizes so you can also interchange - aftermarket wall mounts and nozzles can be found at online auctions or 3d printed Pros: - great airflow to move just about anything you throw at it - compatibility with other Dewalt batteries - no gas required and practically maintenance free Cons - doesn't come with stand or hanger attachment like cheaper 20v version - poor balancing with the 60v battery at the rear of the body instead of being mounted underside - no audible low battery warning warning Wishes: - inclusion of cheap wall mount or stand attachments - remote battery attachment option, perhaps a backpack battery with a whip connector

Heavy/short battery life
More power than my old gas blower. However, its very heavy compared to the gas blower. Extended use will leave you with a sower arm. Also, the battery life is maybe 20-30 minutes max. A second battery is very expensive around $160.00 which is necessary. Right now I use it till the battery dies, recharge (about an hour) and then finish the job.

Things nobody told me about…
Always been skeptical about electric chainsaws till a tree came down last year & the neighbor brought his to help. Long story short, I immediately added this to my wish list. She’s a hungry beast & serious about getting the job done. Now, the things nobody told me. Grab these extras to make your experience a little easier. - Bar oil - doesn’t come with any at all. - Chain or sharpener - the factory chain is either dull AF or dulls real quick. I opted to grab a few off brands & a DeWalt replacement. The OEM is a direct drop in & no tools are needed for that at all. - Gloves & glasses/face shield - kinda self explanatory. - Battery - I bought an off brand & will need more time to test longevity. - Eye on the clock - set an alarm or you’re gonna cut the whole forest down. The blower is a super nice bonus item to get the job site cleaned up. Keep your chain sharp, batteries charged, oil reservoir full & your finger on the trigger & she’ll keep a smile on your face 🤙🏻🍻

This thing is a beast! The shop where I work got the new Milwaukee and this beats it, hands down! Plus with the battery it was cheaper than their bare tool

I messed with alot of gas powered blowers as a professional landscaper. This product makes them all look like prehistoric boomer toys! No gas engine and no 40lbs turtle shell. It could feel heavy for a child but this is certainly no children's toy. I think the battery pack may weigh more than the unit itself. Unfortunately it kills the battery faster than a prostitutes hope for a better tomorrow but thankfully dewalt got attachments for those issues. The thing works better than any gas powered unit and is so much more maneuverable. It does things gas powered will never be able to do.

The blower is very powerful. I replaced my corded one with this cordless. Never had issues with dewalt batteries before but this one started giving me trouble after about 3 weeks of use. This 9ah flex volt came with the blower, charges good, but one of the green battery indicator lights stays on full time starts draining the battery.

I love this blower. I had a similar 18v ryobi before. Got the job done but wanted something with more guts. This was the one, I looked at Dewalts other blowers but loved that this one had the best CFM, (3x what my ryobi had) and running on flexvolt it just keeps going and going. Highly recommend it. One feature that I did not expect but really like is the speed setting. You can pull the toggle to you desired speed setting and it will stay there without needing to hold down the trigger.
