I have a hiatal hernia and they really help. Got me off Zantac years ago, I'm not against any meds if you need them, but if I can find a natural alternative I am thankful. I was not a believer at all at the time I started, didn't think they would help at all. I imagine it's all individual and how bad you have it, but I've had some bad episodes these worked great on. Through diet, I haven't had much problem the last few years, but recently things are acting up again, my throat will start burning and I just suck on a couple of these and the burning goes away, if it's bad and I can feel yhe burning in my stomach and all the way up my throat, I will swallow 3-4.
