Photos all show the towel warmer with a mat underneath. does the warmer get hot to the touch and, most especially, over the floor?

Mine is in the tile shower floor. I have a large shower, so water hitting it is not a concern. It does not need to be on a mat. Heats up quickly and is great!

The timer on mine will not change from 15 minutes is there a way to override that?

Let it rest for 5 minutes, then press and hold the power button once more to turn it on and try adjusting the timer. Avoid this and save your money and put it on something that will actually last

Piece of junk, first one died in months and would not power on the second one after just 6 months will not turn power to the element so it just stays on blue like it's heating but never warms up. This is the kind of crap that fills up the landfill with waste because it doesn't last. Such a waste of my hard earned money. Save yourself a headache.

On my 4th or 5th. Wish they lasted longer but better than most heating towels enough. Tried others and just not warm enough.

4 years later, does not work

Lasted 4 1/2 years and now has stopped working. Maybe that's normal for tech these days but it's disappointing to now know my shower is going to be cold. Was nice while it lasted but I wont be buying this one again.

Doesn’t work in the UK

I bought this as a present for my wife. She loved it for 10 seconds until we found out it does not work in the UK. Not sure why UK Amazon is selling it.

The power button does not work and I cannot access customer support

I bought a towel heating unit for my clinic recently, delivered to Hobart Tasmania via Amazon and it does not work! I keep pressing the power button over and over. It did not come with an US plug converter so I ended up buying one, I believe most electric goods come with a power converter for overseas customers? . I have plugged it in correctly I've tried different power sockets. I want to know what to do please to get it to work or receive a refund thanks, Ruth In addition I cannot access customer support? I have had an email saying my question has gone unanswered? What support is there if the unit arrives and will not work?

** UPDATE - if you’re shipping this to a Canadian address, there’s an ADDITIONAL $70 customs fee you will be charged in addition to their $74 shipping fee (so extra charges total $144). Just thought to share this with my fellow shoppers so you have all the info to make an informed decision :) ** Now for the review: Got this for my girlfriend. She loves it and talks about how great it is for her pjs and blankets. I would just caution on how long you put items in it for. For people with delicate skin, 30 minutes might be too long and too hot for your skin.
