Both - it definitely makes you go, but it also cleanses really well. It gave me a boost of energy after a couple days. Make sure to follow the directions and drink lots of water. After a few days I could feel the detox and felt like I was getting rid of junk that was clogging up my body. I lost about 10 pounds in 14 days which I was amazed with. Just keep getting in your exercise to keep the weight off!
