VTech 2-in-1 Shop and Cook Playset

My son LOVES to watch me cook and always wants to help out so I got him this as one of his birthday gifts and he was floored! He plays with it all the time. You can put batteries in to hear the noises of the sink and appliances, but our son doesn't even turn it on. He has fun with just his imagination... cooking us up yummy food and pushing the cart around. It's been over a month of heavy play and the product is still holding up great. Our son got a lot of toys for his birthday, but he still plays a lot with this cook set.

This is another amazing VTech toy.Our little one enjoyed:The ability to use it as a walker, shop around the house, and take things in and out of the shopping cart.Additional items were picked up along the way for a complete and cute shopping experience.The food and utensils are a nice safe size and can relate visually to a young child.The composition of the unit is of quality material and finished smoothly.The cart is balanced.Stopping after shopping, our little one can now cook with the sides folded down.Little burner and clicking sound make it real for play.This has been a favorite for sure

I'm really happy with this toy, it folds easily from grocery cart to kitchen and takes up less real estate than the typical play kitchen by being portable. I usually set it to the music setting, because I find the other learning/instructional settings are a little too "bossy" for my 2 year old who just wants to play with the pots and pans her own way at this age. It will be nice to grow into. If I had any complaints, it would be that the oven door takes a bit of force to open, she has hurt her fingers a little bit trying to get it open a few times already. I like that is has two volume settings, as well

I bought this to be used by my son (2.5yrs) and daughter (11months). I returned it because after assembling it we realized how unsteady it was. I like the push cart idea for my daughter who's learning to walk but it was so bad that even i would've tipped it over. The sides and front of the basket flip down when it converts but it's simply a force thing - no button or latch so if they lean on it with any pressure it's gonna pop out from under them. I was REALLY excited about this lil toy but decided I'd rather have kids without busted lips and bruises (they'll get enough of those without the help of a toy that wasn't really made to a higher standard).

My toddler loves this playset and so do we. It was easy to assemble and comes with plenty of fun chunky foods and pots and pans. Everything is the right size for little hands and nothing is a choking hazard. The cart is sturdy and she runs it all over the house without a problem. It will even support the weight of a toddler (Not that we encourage any toddler sitting on it). Easy to keep clean and fun. The music and voices that go with it are actually fairly amusing, though like all talking toys eventually we took the batteries out for parental sanity. :)

This was a gift for my two year old daughter's birthday. She and all of her friends loved it including the 2 year old boys. It has a large number of items included in it and she loves putting everything she sees in the basket and wheeling it around. It was relatively easy to snap together although the sides to require a combination of finesse and force. We rarely turn on the electronic voice that asks the child to "put the pan on the burner". It is kind of annoying and not particularly impressive programming. Regardless, we do like this buy and I love that I can toss all of her stuff in it and wheel it away.

A favorite toy of my toddlers. I love the multi function of grocery cart/kitchenette. This would Make great toy for the grandparents house as they can still have all the fun without taking up all the space of an actual play kitchen. The side does pop off every now and then but it's no big deal to snap it back on. We found the music and sayings annoying so we took the batteries out and like it all the more. I'd say it's a good fit for ages 12 months -4 yrs. A good alternative to a play kitchen.

My 18month daughter loves this toy. This toy is perfect because she loves to push things around and I noticed her playing "cooking" with random toys and objects. I read reviews before purchasing and someone said that it would not stop asking you to finish "transformation." But that you could just turn the sound off. So when this happened to me I was bummed but quickly figured out that one of the buttons was stuck down so the toy thought it was in shopping mode when I wanted it to in cooking mode. I just opened and closed the flap a few times and it become unstuck. I wish the oven door was easier to open and that the kitchen had storage spots for the "food."Overall, For the price and entertainment and joy I get from watching my little one pretending to cut the carrot, stir the pot, and wash her hands, 5 stars!!

If you don't want a full size play kitchen taking up space in your home, this will work wonderfully! We bought it when my son was 2 and it has gotten a lot of use! He especially likes that it turns into a shopping cart! He's almost 3 now and still plays with it.

We bought this for our 19 month old son. He loves shopping carts and we thought what a great idea to also have a kitchen! This product exceeded our expectations. Our son not only loves pushing it everywhere, but also loves all the noise it makes once it turns into the kitchen. Overall a great purchase.

Love it my little one just fell in love with it!! Very easy to set up. And hours with of fun as well a learning.

Excellent educational toy. My grand daughter truly enjoys it!!!
