Best little thing, though it gets dirty easily
Love this little box, so much. I use it for my tank all the time. Though it attracts algae like crazy and can stain easily if you're not careful. But it is an amazing little breeder box and does its job so well. It goes inside the tank and the walls are made of mesh, so the water just flows like it would in the tank. It is a little difficult to assemble, you have to be very specific about how you put it together and snapping the pieces in place can be tricky but once its together its very sturdy. Overall if you don't mind the algae buildup or keeping up with cleaning off the algae then this product is really good for its price. Would recommend.

Perfect for what I need!
It's almost perfect! I wish the walls were clearer, and the whole thing a little bigger but overall, its really good! The building process is a little rough, but once it's put together, it works very well. You just have to make sure you hear and audible snap to make sure it's all the way together. The suction cup works very well too! It's a perfect size for my guppy fry. It's really good value for what you spend on it. Overall, i say it's a super good breeder/fry net. Especially for how well priced it is. Definitely recommend.

Very durable with a single prep step - the pins!
So the pins are a bit sketchy, but dabbing some super glue on prior to pressing it in and allowing 24hrs to cure has been effective. I double up the usage for a nursery when I get a couple of interesting fry that I don't want nature to do with them as it will. The other use I've put it to is refilling the tank (I use buckets because I can't use a python or other filling methods). I've been using it for months, taking on 20-30gal of 5gal buckets a week. The super fine netting does a great job of not disturbing the tank mates for refills. As a nursery, I do keep it in the corner front of the tank. Simply put, it can pivot due to a single suction cup. It does level freely, but a tip over would mean your fry are exposed. The assembly process is simple. the box is nice and square. Netting mesh is super fine (it'll hold air bubbles beneath it so similar to a shrimp net). I don't use the supplied plants as a surplus of water lettuce is tossed on top for the little guys to play/hide in. Overall - it sounds like some of the prior issues have been remedied. The pins still need glue/aquarium silicone to hold it in place. Doing so has allowed over 60 5 gal buckets to dump through it without ever losing a single one. I'd say that's a pass for testing its durability, eh?

Love this. It’s sturdy and serves its purpose. I also love the little fake branches that come with it. I used it for new baby fish that I was adding to my tank, and I didn’t want to stress them out because they were teeny tiny. Highly recommend.

Save your money and buy a small tank
I have tried using this several time over the past 9 months. first time the pins that hold the basket fell off overnight. Lost all of my fry. Second time I zip tied the basket to the suction cup. the suction cup came loose over night. Again, lost all of my fry. Third time I cleaned the glass real good but the suction cup came loose again. Again, lost all the fry. Basket it self is ok. The mount is horrible. Just use a separate small tank and a gravel cleaner to do water changes. Since I started doing that, I have has a lot of success.

Sucks
So fragile... So I was putting it together, and the instructions are not very specific. So I put it together inside out, then I couldn't even disassemble it with out breaking it. When I finally had it together, the suction cups wouldn't even stay on the glass. When I finally got them to I put my Tiger barbs in it, and they went through the crack in between the walls ( so basically in the corner). Then the suction cups came off the glass, and it all fell apart in the tank, and so did the tiny pieces that hold the suction cups on those rods. In case any of you guys know ( which you don't) I have a prehistoric dragon goby fish, he could of easily chocked on those tiny pieces, cause well he swallows anything that appeals to him, but any ways this product is the worst thing I have ever in my life have bought, I want my money back!

The Best New Breeder Box
This one is just about perfect! I had the first version- the frame that you have to stretch a cheap net bag over. It worked okay, but looked awful and collected aquarium gunk. You also had to hook it over the side- hard to do with an acrylic aquarium. This version comes with pre-netted pieces, so when you snap it together everything is snug and tight, no net gapping anywhere. It comes with one suction cup on a floating bar, and this I assumed I would have to replace- but no, it sticks like crazy. No issues whatsoever. This little box kept 30 platy babies safe for weeks- they all survived, no one escaped. It is also excellent as a "time-out" for a naughty fish, or one who is not feeling well. The only issue I had was assembling it- it would seem to snap together, then fall apart in my hands. I was convinced that it wasn't going to work, but if you take the time to sit down with it and really work each snapping point, you will be glad you did. Once you figure it out, it is very sturdy and will not come apart on you. I like the soft blue color as well- it was not such an eyesore in the tank. Such an improvement! Cleans up nicely too, with just a soft toothbrush and water.

Solid construction..Best one out there..
Let's start with the good.... Its solid, well constructed does the job.. Like that it raises and lowers with the water level... There are no gaps in the net for the fry to escape or have it stretch out.. The frame has a raised lip on top to keep the fry from escaping. This is an excellent constructed unit.. Now the not so good.. There is only one section cup securing it to the glass.. After reading another review, I just added 2 more suction cuos.. Perfect.. When you begin to assemble this unit. Inspect all the parts. Take note of all the variations from one side to the other. If your having a hard time connecting the parts, the tab into the open slot. you more then likely have the wrong side. Double check and recheck. When you think you have it right, check it again.. This is not an simple assembly. If you're not patient, and have a hard time figuring things out. If you don't have soft hands and you try to force it together. You will break it... This is not for you. I gave a 5 star 🌟 rating. The assembly, id give 3 stars ⭐ Its a real pain, if your not careful..
