yodo Fit Over Glasses Sunglasses with Polarized Lenses for Men and Women

Frankly, I was amazed when I received my order and started wearing these sunglasses. They are MUCH better than I expected and are superior in every way over the Cocoons I had purchased at my eye doctor's office for over $50. It was time to replace my old sunglasses and on a whim, I searched on Amazon to see if I could find something similar that would fit over my current prescription glasses, which are rather large. I was surprised that a product with a price point much lower than I paid before would have such good reviews so I thought, "at this price, why not give it a try?" The Yodo sunglasses were packaged in a very attractive black box. On opening the box there is a nice, heavy, leather-like draw-string case (heavy enough to protect them while storing in my purse) and inside were the sunglasses, along with a microfiber cloth for cleaning them. The sunglasses were attractive, and (hurrah) fit over my large, trendy prescription glasses very comfortably. I like the way they look. But more importantly, I like the way they perform. I get migraines very easily and glare or bright sunshine is an instant trigger for terrible pain for me. These sunglasses cut the glare and the sun and I can still see accurately. Previously, when I was driving on a sunny day, I had just accepted that I would have a hard time reading any LED info on my vehicle's dashboard. With the Yodo sunglasses I can see everything, inside and out of the vehicle, very comfortably. I wore these recently during a rainstorm and they cut the glare from headlights on a busy freeway while still allowing me to see the road and highway markings. It's not an exaggeration to say that they are helping me to be a better driver. Sitting outside for my son's sporting events has many times caused me to have a migraine due to the sun. These glasses provide protection that is truly helpful and I can still see the game. The value for the money here is truly incredible. Buy without any hesitation.

I have chronic migraines. Trying to drive with snow reflection and the sun shining through tree branches this winter has been excruciating. I bought the Yodo black frames with purple lenses. They are exceptionally functional. They fit perfectly over my large framed progressive glasses. They rest on top of them, which blocks sun from above, as well. They have side windows with the same tint to see traffic without moving my head all over. Great wearability and flexibility, I was able to easily flip them up on top of my head with one hand when I went inside a store without messing up my progressives. The polarized lenses make everything vibrant and clear, but at the same time they take the edge off the brightness. They were definitely not too dark, which was a fear of mine. I never had to take them off to see something. They came with a carrying bag, a cleaning cloth, and even a strap to hold them on for outdoor activities. Yes, they’re BIG, but modern and stylish. They do not look like the old style senior citizen wrap around glasses that I had been considering. So I’m super happy that I found them!!! Five stars!

If you reference my review of the other brand with a similar name (Yogo) you'll see why these were rated higher, even though they cost more and one gets just one pair rather than two pairs. These are more sturdy, although still lightweight (a plus in this case) and seem to shade my eyes a bit better at the top of the frame. The lenses have a scratch-resistant coating. The sunglasses come in a more attractive and more sturdy box than the other brand, which is a plus when gift-giving or storing, and the company includes accessory items. Glad that a pouch is provided (seems to be polyvinyl) with a drawstring, plus there is a lens polishing cloth and a snap-on adjustable headband. The latter has little plastic tips that snap into the small hole at each end of the ear pieces. Just press firmly. After you've tried on the sunglasses with the strap to see how the strap fits, one can take off the sunglasses and the strap can be adjusted to fit more snuggly or more loosely, as preferred. As an amusing bonus, there is a little card that shows a person fishing, and the company suggests putting on the sunglasses to see the rest of the picture. Surprise! It's a test card for the polarized lenses, and one gets to see what is being fished for. Overall, very happy with the purchase. I had bought these before in XL some years ago, and misjudged the size, so ended up giving them to my husband. Yes, they fit him, and weren't "girly" looking in the pattern/color I had purchased. This time I bought them in L for myself, and they fit well even over my biggest glasses.

Love these fit over sunglasses. I lost my last pair and rushed to get more of the same. Great fit and I adore the side lens, they help shade that pesky side light. Truly my favorites!

They come with a strap around the back of the head that allows you to wear them without fear of dislodging them by bending or activity. Good lenses and protective case. Able to fit over large prescrption lenses.

I purchased a pair of these Yodo Fit Over Sunglasses to replace a pair of original name brand "Fitover" sunglasses. I had paid $60 for them. Actually I had purchased two pairs years ago and they finally just were too scratched up and worn to allow good vision. I really didn't want to spend that much money again so came to Amazon to see what I could find. I found these Yodo glasses. After reading the reveiws and noting that this was a Prime item with "free return", what did I have to lose. I bought a pair which arrived today. All I can say is WOW. I wheeled myself out into the bright sunlight and put these on over my prescription glasses. FANTASTIC!!!!. Vision was crystal clear. Fine clarity close up and far away, wonderful protection from sun glare all around, fits very comfortably and snuggly over my glasses without any "pressure points" that cause soar temples. Aside from a few minor design differences, these Yodo fitovers are JUST as good as the $60 original Fitover brand. I raved so much my husband gave them a try. I just ordered a second pair for him. He thought they were great and wants a pair in the car at all times for driving. Nothing worse than driving along into the sun and getting hit in the eyes with major sun glare coming off a wet highway. It's blinding. As far as durability, they look like they will hold up but only time will tell. I PROMISE I will come back and edit this review if I run into ANY problems. Today is May 25, 1017. As long as you see no edit, you'll know the glasses are still working just fine. At this point, all I can say is...there is no reason to pay more. These are great original Fitover clones. I love them.

They fit fine. They go over my wireframe glasses easily and aren't uncomfortable to wear. They're bulky but that's obvious from the pictures. They're not the least bit fashionable, so if that matters to you look somewhere else. You WILL look like an old man/woman wearing these, but if you care more about function than form it's no big deal. The lenses are moderately dark and polarized. They're not quite as dark as I'd like but it's enough to knock the glare out and ease the eye strain from driving. The side lenses work well and there's very little space for light to bleed through. You MUST be careful cleaning these lenses, they scratch like crazy. Even with a microfiber and cleaning fluid I have still put lots of pretty heavy scratches into these. I'm pretty cautious with lenses from owning regular glasses but these still don't take much abuse. Overall I'm moderately pleased. I'd probably look for darker ones if I purchased new ones but the fit is good and they don't cost much so I'm not too disappointed.

I have massive Ray Ban glasses and sensitive eyes, and these sunglasses are a great fit for driving or being outside on bright or snowy days. The eye frames have a deep opening so they fit over big glasses and can still make some contact with your face (picture 3). They feel securely attached and my glasses feel "plugged in"; the top of the frames rest on top of my glasses and the bridge just barely touches my eyebrow. The temple tips (ends of the arms) clash with those of my glasses, but still attach gently yet firmly to the side of my head. The lenses are BIG, allowing mostly full field of view. The sides contain an additional small sense, which is somewhat useful for looking to the side. However, the plastic surrounding it and forming the rest of the arm creates two blind spots in the peripheral region. I'll say it again, THERE ARE BLIND SPOTS ON THE SIDES THAT YOU MUST GET USED TO BY USING THE SMALL SIDE LENSES. The first time I put these on and drove my car, when I looked left before changing into the left lane, I almost panicked because I could barely see anything. NOW THEY WORK PERFECTLY BECAUSE MY BRAIN/HEAD KNOW WHERE TO LOOK AND IT NEVER HAPPENED AGAIN. But definitely practice in the driveway when you first get these. I also use these when walking/driving on snow days. I haven't used them snowboarding yet, as the bottom edges are still open and reflected light can still leak in - maybe worth a shot though if you're interested. I HAVE used them while casually floating/swimming in the ocean, as it cuts out most direct and reflected sunlight. The temple tips (ends of the arms) have holes to attach a lanyard to keep them around your neck. I believe it also came with a lanyard but I haven't used it, so don't quote me on that. My first pair was stolen out of my car and I immediately ordered a second because I use them while driving. A little pricey, but I am satisfied with the purchase(s).

Très bonnes lunettes de soleil, de qualité. Tiennent bien en place, sécurisé par courroie élastique, protègent bien les yeux même les côtés, recouvrent bien mes verres, légères donc pas de pression sur le nez, très confortables et apaisants pour les yeux. Bien satisfaite de mon achat. Rendent les activités à l'extérieur agréables.

Da ich ein stark kurzsichtiger Brillenträger bin, benutze ich gegen die Sonne zumeist Vorhänger, bes. beim Fahren im Sommer. Modische, durchgebogene Brillen in meiner Stärke, mit denen man vernünftig sehen kann, gibt es einfach nicht! Ich habe also diese Über-Sonnenbrille ausgesucht, weil sie im Design mir gefällt. Seitdem ich sie habe, habe ich sie fast jeden Tag benutzt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit, sie passt super. Das Sicht ist auch gut trotz zweier Brillen. Ich bin total begeistert, vor allem beim Autofahren.

Diese Brille ist sehr gut, besonders wenn ich Fahrrad fahre. aber die Brille ist wirklich sehr groß, wenn ich sie benutze, lacht mein Freund über mich, sie sagten ich bin blind, aber für die Sicherheit und den Schutz meiner Augen ist es eine gute Wahl für Leute, die Kurzsichtigkeit haben

Ich bin von dieser Brille begeistert! Sie passt perfekt über meine Gleitsichtbrille, und ich sehe damit sogar schärfer - merkwürdigerweise! Eine angenehme Braun-Färbung, kein Blenden. Okay, aufgrund der Größe sieht sie etwas auffällig aus. Aber sie erfüllt meine Erwartungen voll und ganz und ist soviel praktischer, als immer die normale Brille ab- und die Sehstärken-Sonnenbrille aufzusetzen. Glatte Kaufempfehlung!
