Seiko Women's Automatic Watch Stainless Steel with Stainless Steel Strap

I am very happy with the watch I purchased. I must say, though, that the picture made the numbers on the bezel look bigger than they really are. I wanted them to be bigger, but I like the watch anyway. I have trusted Seiko watches for many years. They run forever, and are easy to get batteries for, if needed. I am sure this one will give me long life as well. The only thing that limits their life is that the gold tone eventually wears off. I hope with this two-tone watch, it will not be so evident, and I can continue to wear it. As I made the purchase online, I needed to get it sized to fit, but that was not a problem, not vey expensive. It was an especially good deal, as I found it on sale for $80 off the regular price.

This watch is really small but it is beautiful. Looks more expensive than the price.

I bought this in early July from AreaTrend Storefront on Amazon. My price was $113. After wearing the watch for two weeks it began losing over 30 minutes per day. I made sure I was wearing it all the time and shook my wrist on occasion to make sure it was sufficiently in motion to keep up the automatic aspect which was the reason I bought it (no need for batteries). I had not kept the packaging so could not return it. I am wondering if this is old technology, probably discontinued by Seiko hence the lower sales price. I would not recommend that others waste their money on this watch.

Beautiful! My father bought me my very first Seiko watch back in the early 70’s and it’s still working. My mother had an automatic winding one that would still be working today if it wasn’t for a lousy watch repairman. I bought this as a birthday present to myself. I needed a watch I could count on that not only looked classy, but also didn’t need to be removed every time I hopped in the shower or went for a swim . From personal experience I know Seiko is a quality watch and built to last

I really don’t like winding a watch daily, or paying to have new batteries installed. This is my first self-winding watch, but it stops fairly frequently. Like now it is hours behind. I try to remember to shake it back and forth, but will probably go back to a battery watch.

I had a Seiko years ago, back in the 70s. I haven’t owned or worn a watch in years, but decided I wanted one. I chose this one. I wanted an automatic. It was reasonably priced & you really can’t beat Seiko for reliability. I think it’s a really great timepiece & it looks expensive.

I purchased this watch to send as a gift to my mother in my home country. I didn’t use it myself and kept it aside for three weeks before sending it to her. Unfortunately, the watch stopped working properly within a week of use. It constantly loses time, requiring her to reset it every day.(Now it is losing 10 minutes per hour which means you have adjust 10 minutes every hour). I contacted the seller for support, only to be told that the watch has a mere 6-month dealer’s warranty. To make matters worse, I have to bear all expenses for sending and receiving the watch for repairs (within Japan). This is unacceptable for a product that cost ¥26,000. Even budget watches priced at ¥5,500 from shops like The Clock House come with a 3-year warranty. When I inquired about the product’s origin, the seller refused to disclose it, stating only that it wasn’t made in Japan. This lack of transparency is highly disappointing. As a loyal Amazon customer for six years, this has been my worst experience so far. I’ve lost peace of mind, money, and trust in both Seiko and this seller. For anyone reading this, I highly recommend exploring better options in stores like The Clock House or Mega Don Quijote, where you can find more reliable watches with better warranties at similar prices.
