SAGE Professional Product Model SRC600BSS4EEU1 Risotto Plus

Worked like a charm and descaled my Sage Barista Impress perfectly. I hadn’t descaled in longer than I’d like to admit but these sachets provided the cleaning power I needed. I was a bit confused if these were okay to use for my specific machine but they worked great. It was much easier and quicker to get these off Amazon than directly from Sage and will last me for around a year so price wise this is good value.

Did the job. The Barister Pro is VERY sensitive to scale (presumably with their instant heater) so it seems descaling, even with the incredibly soft water here in Scotland, regularly is critical.

Sage coffee machine powder descaler mixed easily with water and flushed through the machine after which the coffee machine now works fine, the only negaive is the price as similar products can be bought cheaper.

Let's be honest, when you've invested £700+ in a Sage coffee machine, the last thing you want to do is cut corners on its maintenance. I looked at third-party descalers, but the thought of causing damage or voiding the warranty just to save a few pounds felt like a false economy. This official Sage Descaler gives you complete peace of mind. You know it's formulated specifically for their machines and cleans perfectly every time. The instructions are foolproof, and the machine runs like a dream after a cycle. Yes, it feels expensive for what it is. However, I consider it a small, essential insurance payment on a very valuable piece of kit. It's not a daily purchase, and ensuring the longevity and performance of my machine is absolutely worth it to me. Don't risk your expensive hardware; this is the right tool for the job.

Sage has recently revamped their cleaning range to simplify it and reduce packaging. This is a great step and standardises the cleaning process. My Sage Bambino Plus started illuminating the descaler lights yesterday and I immediately ordered this - I don’t mind using the off brand cleaning tablets but I wanted to get the proper Sage branded descaler. It came today and I managed to descale the machine using the instructions on the back of the water tank - however with it being a powder descaler I would advise dissolving the powder in a jug first, NOT within the water tank itself as the granules will just fall into the recess at the bottom and not dissolve. Overall a good product by Sage with much improved packaging.
