This works amazing and I actually put it on the top part of my garage door so when it opens all of the way, it marks exactly where I needed to be. Versus I think they recommend putting it on the ceiling, but my way works much better!

Great product but give me a 30-second time out please. I have a really long truck and a really short garage, so I have to pull in very slowly. Sometimes the laser turns off before I'm done parking and I have to roll down my window and wave my hand around to make it turn back on.

I've been using this for about a week. I placed it in the center of the garage so it can be focused on both cars. I have a full sized truck and always worried that I wasn't pulled in far enough for the garage door to clear the trailer hitch. With this laser light as a guide, I don't have to worry about that now.Update: I just noticed today that the lights only stay on for 15-17 seconds. If you pull in too far and slowly back up, the sensor may not activate the lights either. For these reasons, I'm changing this from 5 stars to 4.

I hope she doesn't read this post, but here it goes. (I do love you dear)My wife needed a way to know when she was far enough in the garage to shut the door. We couldn't have anymore "incidents". After looking around and trying different DIY solutions, like the tennis ball on a string and lines on the floor I needed something else. I needed something that was out of the way, I didn't trip on and still let her know when to stop backing up. That's when I turned here. Truly though, there are many options identical to this on Amazon, but I landed here based on reviews and price. I only needed one and this was it.This installed very easy and because there is a plug for your garage door opener (most likely) it has power right where I installed it. I lined it up to where I needed, screwed it in, plugged it in, and it turned on. Next, I pulled her car in to where it needed to be each time, got out the step stool, found a place on her dash as a reference going forward and pointed the laser at it. DONE.NOW...what are the issues. Unless you line it up EXACTLY where you want to point, you will have problems. This ONLY has up and down adjustment, not left and right. This is a problem for fine adjustments and initial install frustrations. It would be very easy to mount the laser on a ball mount to allow you these adjustments, but this DOES NOT have that feature. Once you get past that it is fine and the product works.All in all, the product does exactly what I bought it for. After a little install frustration in lining it up where I wanted it, it has been fine and has negated any more "incidents". Happy wife.

These work perfectly for us. We ordered two for parking our cars in our garage. Works exactly as it says. Great value.

The cord is to short and or the adjust-ability of the pointer is to limited. The unit was purchased specifically to park 1 vehicle but in 2 different stalls of a 3 car garage. The unit is plugged into the suggested outlet, the same one as the garage door opener. The cord will allow the unit to be mounted inline with the back of the hood and roughly 2 feet to the side of the vehicle. In this location I can barely adjust the pointer onto the dash just inside the windshield, not a good location to be able to see it and the swivel on the light will not allow it to pivot more so it would point somewhere in the middle of the dash. Needless to say I had to mount the unit directly over the vehicles hood so it works awesome in this one location but the second pointer can not be adjusted enough to reach a second vehicle or in this case the second location for the same vehicle.I kept the unit since the vehicle is mostly parked in same stall but it would have been nice if it worked as advertised.Granted the "vehicle" is a full size pickup truck but there was no disclaimer that I saw on what size vehicle you are parking.

After only 5 months, one of the red lights does not work. The product was fine for the first 5 months and now is pretty much useless. I have sent an inquiry to the seller asking what my options are, but have not heard back yet. Hopefully they will stand behind there product.UPDATE...The supplier contacted me and is sending a replacement for this defective unit. I am changing my overall rating to a 3 because of this.

Set up was easy. Worked perfectly for a single car with two points of reference.
