This looks great on the wall, but the pop-out seems not as flush as the pictures portray... And for the $$ price it doesn't seem too solid. I would buy again unless it falls apart in the next year.

3 places to plug in appliances
The pop out plug works great on my island. In the video by LeGrande they show 2 places to plug in stuff but the outlet actually has 3 places to plug electrical appliances in.. It is no GFI protected but you can easily get your electrician to place a ground fault breaker in your main panel to meet code requirements in a kitchen area.

Incomplete product
Product was shipped incomplete. Only the face cover arrived.

Mounting plate does not fit unit
I loved the concept and the look of the outlet…BUT the metal plate that the face plate snaps on does not fit the outlet housing in any way shape or form. Out of desperation I cut the hole larger so the unit would fit. The whole process including a trip to Home Depot for metal cutting blades took 6 hours.
