SEI Furniture Apothecary Double Door Media Stand

This media stand is awesome. Its made of SOLID WOOD. It came packed with really well and was pristine when I took it out of the packaging. The setup was relatively easy and the instructions were really clear. The hardware came in a neat package that kept everything organized. I can't believe I paid so little for this! Its such a quality piece and is easily worth $500. I will definitely buy another piece of SEI furniture.

It's not obvious in the picture, but this has an almost black or burned looking pseudo distressed edging. It looks very cheap in person.

The stand looks really nice, but the doors don't really seat correctly. In fact, the first one they sent us had two of the left door so we had to return it. The second they sent was correct, but the right hand door is at a bit of a downward angle. You can only notice it if you look really closely though so we can live with it. We get a lot of good comments on it though

I really like this media stand, I found it here for half the price of World Market, delivered for free. The only thing I noticed is that the doors seem to "sag" a bit...not sure why they did the hardware the way they did, but I have to pull up on the doors so that the magnet catches and the door looks straight. Could be solved with a tiny piece of hardware maybe. Still, a sturdy and attractive piece, fits in well with my living room.

A heavy and sturdy piece of wooden furniture that compliments our decor beautifully! It doesn't even look like it is mail ordered assembly furniture! The instructions were clear and parts were labeled well. It took me - a woman that knows how to work with power tools - about 2.5 hours to assemble by myself. I love the fact that there is a fifth leg in the center, (not shown in the picture,) for extra support. The screws for the door are a bit too short for my liking - so ended up changing them out for different screws, but that wasn't enough for me to even take away a full star.

Assembly is overly complicated and the materials are quite cheap. One of the doors would not go on. I had to hammer it quite forcefully. Even after the hammer job that door is still wonky. The other door just falls off due to imprecise screw holes. It is not able to be assembled. AND...On top of these already frustrating door problems, the color of the doors (the stain) is mismatched!! One of the doors is a light brown color and looks completely different from the other door and the whole cabinet for that matter. I'm so disappointed. Total waste of money. :(

This piece of furniture is a compliment to our lining room. It came in a timely manner and was easily assembled. It supports well our 42' TV.

This is a beautiful piece that's made of solid wood and houses all my audio gadgets AND my printer. I expect it's a piece that I may be able to hand down to another generation, at least. My only tiny little complaint was that there was a small gouge in a piece of the wood which may have been made during construction or was just a flaw in the wood. Can't imagine it happened during shipping because there was so much protective packaging. Absolutely happy that I bought it as it also matches all my other pieces.
