Fits perfectly and the bonnet open detection switch works.

Purchased to replace a seized locking mechanism on my Ford Focus. Once the old lock had been removed this was very easy to reinstall. Fit perfectly where the old one used to be. Still working g fine 6 months later.

Good quality and it does the job. Not as robust as the original Ford one, but does the job! I fitted this to my Ford Focus 2007 Mrk 2.

Purchased to replace the original bonnet lock on my Ford Focus. Seems like a well made and solid replacement for the original lock. Good value for the money.

Perfect fit - only thing that I had to do was transfer from the old lock was the white plastic cross shaped centre part which fits to the actual locking part from the key hole in the front to the bonnet release mechanism. Part shown in my posted pictures. Take care when prising out the white part - in order not to break it - gentle persuasion - not brut force !

This was 2nd I brought as 1st didn't last 5 mins .. this didn't last long as broken in seconds..

Make sure you get the right one - this one does NOT have the contacts for bonnet open sensor so you get a bonnet open warning light and can't set the alarm - unless you short out the contacts in the cable. There is another version from the same supplier that has the sensor contacts (see photos). I wasn't aware until I fitted it but if you scroll the photos in the listing you can see whether the metal contacts are there or not. Should have been made clearer in the listing. Otherwise the items are identical and fit ford focus mk2. There is a process to follow to swap out. Easy once you have done it once but worth checking out youtube for instructions

I had bonnet catch warning keep coming up on the dash. Bought and replaced a new catch and it worked. Very easy to swap over just two bolts. Tip if doing this plug the connecting to the electrics in before fixing on the new one on as I did it after fitting and found it too hard so had to take back off lol

Se adapta perfectamente, tanto eléctrica como mecánicamente.
