This is absolutely my favorite straightener I’ve used in decades, and it makes my hair sleek in one pass which is genuinely a first for me (I have Irish curls). I purchased this straightener to replace a similar product from the same company. This model is a smaller version, and I was surprised by the difference that makes in using it. While the plate is only 1/2 inch narrower, it is also shorter in length, which I wasn't expecting. It still works, but it is taking a bit to get used to. I definitely like the larger plate as I have longer hair, so I'm most likely going to wind up purchasing a larger one. However, this model does work, heats up quickly, and is a good value for the price if you are good with a smaller plate. The prior model I owned lasted nearly 7 years, so I assume the brand as a whole is durable.
