This case is excellent. It has a tough enough exterior to protect against drops. The inner pocket can easily fit the ac adapter, an extra set of joycons, and a portable dock like the Fastsnail. If you have a flexible HDMI cord of modes length, you might be able to fit that too, but most HDMI cords are kinda stiff. Technically, you can fit an entire Pro Controller in the pocket instead of joycons, but it is a pretty tight fit. I would only do it in a pinch since if it shifts in the case, it could push against the analog. It's fine for a short trip though. Tons of game slots, and the bottom of the case has notches to better fit the Switch itself and lay flat. Even little details like the internal fabric zipper to avoid joycon scratching are present. My only flaw is the smell. Out the box, it smells like chemicals and rubber. I've owned it for about a week and have left it open under a ceiling fan, and the smell is mostly gone unless i stick my nose near the inside of the pocket. So i would buy it and let it air out. I bought this for $9.99, and frankly, it would still be a good deal even at $19.99. It's a major upgrade from the PDP Zelda one i bought at launch, as it is better protection, more space, and cheaper. I did a lot of research thru Amazon and Youtube reviews at the other cases, but this one is a bit of a sleeper. I really think this is the best value of all the Switch cases, and it's arguably one of the best in overall quality. As long as you can get around airing it out to rid the factory smell, don't bother looking up other cases. There are two types of cases: one for carrying to play in Handheld mode like this one, and cases meant to carrying the 1st party dock that are oversized. This is the best one for Handheld.

This is a great little starter bundle for a switch! My son absolutely loves the carrying case and it even has slots to store games.

I love this Nintendo Switch case, but I didn't give it the full 5 stars due to its strong chemical-like smell. I left the case open by a window to air it out for a few days and the smell faded greatly, but it's still fairly noticeable. I'm hoping that the smell will fade completely over time.. Otherwise, here are some of the pros!... -The case is very compact, there is quite a lot of space to store Switch accessories and games within it. Exact details are shown in the item description (number of game storage slots, etc). It can fit the Switch charger and multiple accessories with plenty of room to spare. -The outer part of the case feels very solid and sturdy, like it will keep the contents safe in most life situations. Disclaimer: that's just how it feels, as I don't actually know how safe it would keep the console in case of a drop or accident, nothing has happened yet and I don't intend to test it. -No brand name, logo, or writing of any kind is marked on the case. This makes it very discreet. It's not totally obvious what's inside the case, so on this level, it's potentially less of a target for thieves. -Low price!

My first case was an Insignia brand that I bought from my local Best Buy. I really didn't like the thing in practice, though. It used two elastic straps to hold the unit in place, and I found them kind of a pain to deal with when either putting the Switch in or taking it out. And it's pouch for accessories was just too small to hold all the things I really wanted. Even just trying to fit in a single joycon created a cramped fit when I tried to zip the thing up. Growing tired of this setup I found myself in the market for a new case with plenty of room in the pouch and NO elastic straps as my criteria. I saw the price point on the Deruitu in combination with the features it offered and was intrigued. I watched a couple Youtube reviews, and once I was assured by those reviews that I wouldn't have Insignia buyer's remorse all over again, I purchased. The velcro strap is just what I wanted, and I also like the addition of the strap behind the unit that you use to pull it out with. A wonderful bonus, which was not very high on my list of needs but am delighted to see that it has, is 29 little pockets for your Switch cartridges. 29! That's just crazy talk! The accessory pouch has a TON of space in it. While it didn't quite accommodate my joycon grip the way i hoped it would I was still able to stuff this thing with joycons, headphones, joycon straps, and my collapsible aluminum tablet holder that I like to use for table top mode over the Switch's not always so trustworthy built-in kickstand. The outside material of the case is a nice sturdy shell that makes me confident that my console on-the-go will be well-protected, and it includes a little handle to carry it by, which my small hands greatly appreciate given the fortified bulk of this little baby. To top it all off it comes with a thank you letter from the married couple that comprise Deruitu. I really like things like that, and it makes me feel good about my choice. Overall I am very satisfied with this case and cannot find a good reason to give it anything less than five out of five stars. Hope this helps.

I probably spent 3-4 hours looking at so many cases, reading reviews, researching comparisons, blah blah blah.. I ended up trying out this case because I felt like it had the most features for the best price, and I’m really glad I bought this one now!! Features of the case I really like: - Indents for L and R triggers (Switch lays flat, no stress/presser on triggers) - pull strap to remove the Switch easily (the Switch fits real snug so this helps a lot!) - cartridge holder flap has a real soft material to protect Switch screen, and Velcro’s down to secure the Switch - TONs of cartridge space! Like, I can’t even afford enough cartridges to ever fill up all the slots.. - large zipper storage that could easily fit a charger and second controller - zipper is made of soft material to protect your Switch from scratches - exterior carrying handle makes it easy to.. well.. handle the case. There’s only one thing I could see being a negative and that’s a lack of a built-in stand. I’ve seen some Switch cases that have a stand so you can prop up your switch inside the case while you play. Honestly though, it’s kind of redundant.. the Switch itself already has a stand and I wouldn’t play with my Switch stuffed in a case while it’s trying to keep its components cooled. If you’re looking for a protect, functional case that has everything you *need* for a good price, this is really all you need. I don’t see how much affordable a case could get unless it had less features or was made of flimsy material that wouldn’t protect the Switch it it was dropped, while this case is sturdy and gives me peace of mind. I’ve also taken a picture of size comparison so you can see just how big this case is. It really isn’t that bulky.

These bundle kits usually contain some useless items for the purpose of upping the item count (and price). We've had this set for a few weeks now and I can honestly say we have used every single item. I'll include my thoughts on each item below: Travel case: Very comparable to the branded case. Hard sided and molded to hold the switch snugly in place. I feel very confident that my console is well protected in here. A handle was a must for me and this case is perfect. Comfort case: This transforms my Switch from a screen with two joycons attached to feeling like one solid unit. I feel like my Switch is well protected while in use in this case. It's easy enough to take on and off for my needs. Easel (playstand): Arguably my favorite item in this bundle. It has notches to hold my Switch in place (no sliding side to side) and three angle settings. Easily folds flat for portability. It's lightweight yet good quality. Screen protector: Typical screen protector. Cut is precise and it installs well with no bubbles if done properly. Game case: This holds eight game cartridges and fits easily inside the travel case. Charging dock: We're a family of thee with two sets of joycons. Being able to charge more than two at a time was a must. Charger does a great job and we love its small footprint. Joycon wheels and controllers: These are invaluable for single joycon games! My five year old has a blast using the wheel with Mario Kart and my husband's hands appreciate the bulk added by the controller. Joycons install easily and button responsiveness remains uncompromised. Joycon silicone covers: These take a bit more effort to install but are great once on. My son is able to grip the joycons better with his little hands. Note: Joycons don't fit on the Nintendo branded controller grip (included with consoles) with these on. Joystick caps: I thought these little paw prints would add a cute touch to my switch, and they do. But they also help with thumb grip and have proven to be very useful. They install easily and help us to differentiate between our joycons at a glance. They've included enough for four joycons which is perfect for us. My overall opinion of this bundle is that it's an amazing value and well worth the purchase price. Highly recommended!

I bought this case after looking for a while for one, and chose it because of the number of cartridges it can hold. However, I can definitely say that this case is completely incredible, and with an impressive build quality. The case itself is very spacious, with so much space that I can put my AC adapter, all my games, and the console, and STILL have room to spare, allowing the joysticks on the console enough room so that they don't get stuck on things. The inside of the case is also made of very soft materials so that the console itself doesn't get scratched, while the outside of the case is very sturdy. There's a small strap underneath the console so that you can simply pull it up to grab it, while keeping it nicely secured while you're carrying it around, which is much easier to do because of the handle on the outside of the case, which (in my search) I found is not as common in other cases. Small detail, but the case has small indents for the ZL and ZR buttons on the console, which is a nice addition that I haven't seen elsewhere. The only thing I dislike is the fact that this case isn't big enough to hold a Pro Controller, but since I knew that coming in to it, it's not too big a deal. Overall, if you're looking for a great case to hold all your games and most everything else for a great price, then this is definitely the right choice.
