Really solid heavy gauge steel. Flawless zinc coating. I buy these instead of going to big box store.

Because the don't mention the hole size...
Hole size is 5/16" diameter. I purchased two to hang my garage ceiling rack. Just be aware that you won't get identical hole placement so plan accordingly. And why Amazon would you ship the two pieces I purchased in two separate boxes? Oh that's right it's because your Amazon.
