It scratched the corner of my 0.5 inch thickness laptop. If your laptop is not an ultrabook, it either won't fit or is going to be a really uncomfortable squeeze.Bag does not stand no matter how I load items. It keeps falling over. It's a big deal, because it's a laptop backpack. Objects clipped onto the outside straps end up dragging on the ground.Bag holds surprisingly little for the amount of materials used.If the main compartment is filled, it's difficult to load any items that's not tiny into the other compartments due to bulge, reducing the usefulness of themany pockets. If the 2 largest compartments are filled, it's possible that you can't use some of the other pockets.EDIT: FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Bag is NOT 43 liters like the description said. Just do the math of the provided dimensions (which is already wrong). 19.5 x 12.8 x 7 = 1747.2 cubic inches, which is 28.63 liters. This holds NOWHERE CLOSE to the capacity they claim it would. Not only that, I don't know where the 19.5 inches measurement came from. No side measured that long. I estimate the bag to be able to hold around 20 liters.This explains why the bag holds so much less than my last bag, which was a true 30 liters, yet claims to have a bigger capacity.

I use this item for travel and find I can get everything I need for a 2 wk overseas trip in it and a roll-on thereby forgoing the hassle of checked luggage. It has so many pockets and compartments I can give everything it's own place and eliminate the "dig" to try and find items tossed all together. I expect this pack to last a long time as it is very well made and sturdy with strong zippers. The end of the zipper pulls have holes so that a small lock could be used to secure the compartments. The handle of the backpack is a coated heavy cable that a cable lock could be used to secure the entire pack with. This is a fairly good sized pack (it sticks out from under the airline seat a few inches) and does come with a little of its own weight but if you are looking for a substantial pack to carry lots of stuff in this is it.

I just got this in today ,1st 2 minutes , wow this is a very nice bag, then i grab my 17' laptop and,,,,, well poop. it doesn't fix in the spot where its supposed to go it will fit inthe main part but wants to poke thur. i do not feel safe putting it in like that. i have a asus g752v 13.5"deep x 17.25"wide x 1.5''thick it is a big laptop. i wish it would have fit, so if you have a big gaming laptop this isnt the bag for you , i will give this to the wife for her mbp 15" fits just fine. she willl use it and if i need to change my 3 stars i will update

This is the best backpack I have ever owned. Material is really heavy duty with percision stitching that adds to the asthetic value. The P.C.. pocket is sized just right. It has high quality zippers and the internal pockets and the pouches are well laid out and generous in size. All around good quality even the handle on the bag is not just nylon it actually has a 1/4 inch coated steel cable running through it. Lots of little extra goodies that make it a really nice pack.

Great bag! Well built, sturdy zippers. Fits my 17" laptop, my Wacom tablet, portable hard drive, and other miscellaneous accessories. Bag still has plenty of room left. It is perfect for what I needed - replaced an older book bag with broken zippers, and a shoulder strap laptop bag. Now all my stuff has been consolidated into one book bag! Great price too! Glad I found this and took the time to read all the other positive reviews!!!

I was searching for a large backpack for my laptop and stuff and had been using the targus drifter (think that was the name), but it kept falling apart. So decided to try this one and just from a physical standpoint it is much more substantial and seems to be very well put together.Very happy with this and hopefully it lasts for me.

I bought this backpack for my husband and he loves it! He said he would buy it again. He won’t have to anytime soon, since this backpack is so sturdy. I’m pretty sure it could handle a high school student’s books for a couple of years.

I shopped around forever to find a bag that met all my travel needs. I opened up the box and holy pockets! This bag delivered as promised on the storage. Well worth the money. Up to now, I have only used it for daily use. I am taking it on my first trip the weekend! Can't wait to try it out!
