I have a car litter pail with a lid. Having this on the inside of the lid makes a difference in keeping the smell down. I do "refresh it" by putting the bag in the sun for a day sometimes.

I ordered these for my pet poopy picker upper bucket. Works great. Also the company gave me a hand written thank you card for purchasing the product from them. I will buy again and especially from them!

I never write reviews but this deserves all the stars! I was sooo apprehensive about buying this due to having bought products like this and them never working. This product made me a forever customer! If you need something to keep the smell of a garbage can or a poop pale for your animals this is the product you need! You won’t waste a penny!

We use a small bin for our dogs poop near our apartment door since our large trash is a long walk away. We had one of these in for our first 4-5 months until we started to notice a slight smell and pulled it out. I dragged my feet getting a new one and let me tell you we noticed the difference very quickly.While these look very sleek and durable, you don’t really see them in the bin. They seem to consistently last about 4 months with our two dogs, even in the summer heat. They’re pretty condensed so easy to store a few until we’re ready to replace the current one.

My first plan was to use this product in our garbage cans and diaper pails. As soon as they arrived though I realized that there was no way to position the charcoal bag where the actual smell was...inside the garbage..without literally throwing them in the trash. I could probably come up with some way to attach it to the lid of the can, but that was honestly too much work for my brain. My next thought was that I would just use this product in bins I was packing for winter/baby storage. It's an easy size to toss in once the bin is filled, about the size of a regular bean bag but lighter. I've never purchased a charcoal air freshener and I found myself constantly holding it up to my nose expecting it to off-put a pleasant smell like fragrant/perfumed air fresheners. It doesn't...which is exactly as advertised. It'll take some getting used to for me to realize that I'm not looking for a 'nice' smell, I'm actually hoping for no smell at all when I go back into the bins.I ended up putting one in my fridge because I happened to open it almost immediately after the package of these arrived and it occurred to me that I'm always annoyed at how the fridge smells. I've tried baking powder but I end up with a spilled mess and/or a clunky box taking up space. One of these bags fit nicely out of the way behind the butter dish and I forgot about it until today (3 days later). I opened the fridge and realized...no smell! Happy.If it lasts as long as it claims to, and does indeed recharge, then I would say it's certainly a good value and investment.I took one star off simply because if you're going to advertise that it works for garbage cans/diaper pails, some ideas of how to make that practically work would be great.*I received this product as a trial for a reduced price.

These are a must if you have a cat in a small apartment. Paired with a decent pine litter there is no oder unless I'm standing right over the box (I used a regular litterbox inside an enclosure disguised as a small TV stand) like two seconds after my cat has used it.

These odor absorbing packets placed inside of dog waste container helped with smell and condensation that formed inside container.
