It cleans your phone within 10 minutes. I noticed a burnt/electrical smell after the cleaning cycle, which I looked into and found is due to UV-C light producing small amounts of ozone. Ozone has a distinctive sharp, “burnt plastic” or electrical smell, so I always check for that scent after use — and it’s consistently present. There is also a small light pass-through at the top of the box where a blue glow is visible. I confirmed this by shining a light from inside the unit. So if you see that blue light, it means the UV light is active. Ps: The plug is US model, although they do supply a UK to US adapter (4 stars because of this reason)

Easy to use! My Son and Daughter n law loved the idea for a gift esp having a baby. They use it right away after work.

This is one of those products where you can't really tell if it works but you hope it is because the concept is really good. I purchased the PhoneSoap and it's incredibly easy to use...just put your phone in and close the lid. The light on the top glows as it's cleaning and goes off when it's done. I have an iPhone 8+ and it fits perfectly. Of course, there's no visible way to tell how much cleaning is done - no way to measure the level of germs left after a cleaning cycle but I'm hopeful it's cleaner than when I put the phone in. It's pretty sturdy and fairly attractive.

Works well, and is simple to use.
