I have been using Henna products for some time, since I developed an allergy to the regular hair dyes; I would get a bad itchy rash on the skin after regular hair dyes. I have found that this product, the powdered henna seems to work better than the gel or cream henna, although I am coloring really stubborn facial hair or beard hair that is white to grey and I mix this with vinegar and make it really thick and use an old toothbrush. Apply it only to very clean and scrubbed hair while still damp and then cover with a plastic bag and then a heating pad on medium for about an hour, then gently wash out. don't comb it as this product will coat the hair. it will last about 2 weeks on my beard or less depending on the growth of the beard hair. but I am not allergic to it and very happy with the color the dark brown or sable is my favorite. and you can use it often. these original instructions were taken from a similar product and my own experimentation; it does work.

I meant to buy the liquid version of this brand in this color but accidentally bought this one, the powder. When you mix it, it’s UGLY, like baby poop green. And very pasty. I was apprehensive at first bc I was so used to the liquid, but the color still came out beautiful and I was really happy with it. This is the only brand of henna dye I will ever use

I've know about henna and used it before in the past. It is well known for its amazing shades and therapeutic effect on hair. I got Surya Henna Strawberry Blond. Of course I was not expecting to see a salon quality hair color, but maybe a slight difference in the shade. My beautiful strawberry blond hair turn dirty brow/gray and root did not get touched by the color at all. Please do no waste your money and time. If you decide to use henna as hair treatment please go with colorless.

It works great for its intended use. The people leaving negative reviews need to read more into it. This works best if you're going lighter to darker. The darker your hair color the less results you will see with a lighter shade. My hair is normally chestnut with natural platinum blonde highlights. After using the Swedish blonde color it gave my blonde highlights a more yellowish/golden hue. Which looks pretty cool. It did a good job masking the few grays i have. Worked great on my beard as well! I've washed it a few times now and a bit of color has faded but also haven't been using a color specific conditioner/shampoo. I feel that I should've ordered two, as you can notice the top part of my head absorbed more color than the bottum

My hair didn't even turn burgundy even after waiting with the product in my hair for an hour and a half. I guess I should have waited longer, However I love the soft, healthy and shine it gave my hair that' s why I gave it a 3. I will probably buy this product again and hopefully this time will have more time to see color results. The order arrived on time, the packaging is ridiculously big though. Doesn't amazon have smaller boxes for smaller items?

My natural hair is chestnut with about 25 percent gray. :( I used the brown powder. Left it on for about 90 min. It gives absolutely beautiful highlights to brown hair and any gray hairs throughout. However it turned some of my roots orange in color. Yes! These are probably roots where gray was coming it. This toned down after a couple days from bright orange to a dull and less noticeable orange which I guess could also be described as a super light brown. Overall I’m very happy with the color and with knowing that no chemicals were involved. I’m actually looking forward to applying it again ( first time henna user here). I’d totally recommend the brown henna powder if you already have brownish hair and are looking for additional color or highlights. If your hair is mostly gray I would not recommend this particular color.

I am allergic to hair dyes and gluten so I am picky about the hair dye product. I was desperate to find something to help me cover my grey hair. This product works! It is full of safe ingredients! This product is not permanent hair color. But this is a great product which no scalp irritation, perfect coloring, and no reactive chemicals. I use this once a month. My hair is softer after use. It makes my hair shiny, soft and feels thicker. I will continue to buy this and recommended to my friend.

What I like about this product is that it’s natural and it doesn’t hurt your hair. However I am extremely dissatisfied at the color. This is supposed to provide a reddish tent and they basically feel like I died my hair yellow brown. I bought three of these and used all of them to color my hair and I’m extremely dissatisfied with it. I wish I could get my money back. In the photo you can see what my hair was like before( The picture on the left ) and after (The picture on the right), And what color does hair dye supposed to yelled on the bottom straight from the box.

L'ho provato dopo vari tentativi con altre marche e finalmente ho trovato un prodotto di qualità che soddisfa le mie esigenze. Per coprire al meglio i capelli bianchi io lo utilizzo combinato al castano dorato (stessa marca) ,il risultato un colore molto naturale e con i riflessi bellissimi.

Lovely colour, good for your hair. No chemicals! The application can be a little messy, but its worth it.

Le pongo tres estrellas porque la verdad que el color que me quedó no me gustó mucho, quedaba muy clarito y se lo regalé a una amiga que se tiñe de rubio, aunque no se si lo ha usado, pero no reseca nada el pelo
