Whilst it a good standard. I did not appreciate the poor quality control on the dispatch item. Plastic top missing and scratched and marked all over. I would have returned it had it not been, for the fact that my mother who has dementia had to move in with me during this period of the CV-19 pandemic. I’m expecting the seller to compensate me for this.

Appalling quality. Shoddy workmanship. Overall : dangerous. The bottom fails to sit flush to the floor leaving the item wobbly and NOT fit for purpose. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Hate to think of anybody buying this thinking they'll provide security and assistance to those who are frail / in need .... this product WILL NOT provide you with the comfort. Very poor quality, easily distorted, flexes under load. Would not trust this product with the elderly or infirm. Would suggest you source locally where you can assess the quality first. Avoid

Holes dont line up. Loads of rubbish, screws n bolts are tat. Tools provided snapped.

Dad used this to get up after a fall, little wobbly but I don't think it would topple over. Prob best with one side of legs underneath the bed to stabilise it.

This support stand has been a real help for my 99 year old father as he manoeuvres himself in and out of his wheelchair. It’s remarkable sturdy and gives him just the support he needs to stand, however briefly. Happy to recommend.

We have a platform bed with drawers in the platform and needed a bedrail that did not need to attach to the bed frame. This product was perfect - we pulled out one of the drawers near the headboard and placed this standing bedrail in its place. We had a little trouble with one of the holes not lining up for the screws. My husband drilled it out and everything worked fine. My mom loves the location of the bedrail and the confidence it gives her in getting out of bed.
