Kracie Popin' Cookin' Sushi Making Kit

I love all the poppin cookin kits and have been buying them for years. This one is my favorite. It's just a little fun treat to every once in a while.

The best popin cookin because the “caviar” is like a science experiment to make. Taste yummy too.

I happened across this on a Youtube video and had to buy 2 of these kits. One for myself and one for my niece who I think will love it. Experience wise, this is totally worth the price. A lot of mixing and getting the powders in the right compartments. The "roe" is really a cool reaction as well and if all it was, was that, it'd still be worth it. The instructions are obviously not in English, but the pictures are easy enough to follow. (Plus, you can also watch someone make it on Youtube as well if you need help). Flavor-wise, the "seaweed" part was my favorite flavor/texture. The "roe" was also pretty good. The egg and salmon had a gritty texture, almost like applesauce. The rice was just sweet, but fun to play with. I wouldn't crave this, but you're really getting the experience of making the sushi rather than looking for a great tasting candy. Shipping speed was also quite reasonable, as well.

I have been super stoked to try this item out and I finally did. I have been watching RRCherryPie's youtube channel and she (I believe it's a girl) has done every popin cookin Kracie has to offer. She has also did the non edible versions so I had to make sure that I got the right ones. I mean why would I waste all that time and not be able to eat the final product? I did this one first and the directions were fairly simple even if you didn't know how to speak Japanese. The only thing was the flavors honestly didn't taste that good together. Separately they were ok but together they tasted a bit weird but the rice actually turned into realistic lookin rice and the jello set well for the egg and tuna but they kinda of crumbled wen I ate them. They all smelled really good and everything came out almost perfectly. Because I got a newer version it did come with the soy sauce and it honestly tasted a bit salty to me. It's a lot of fun I did it with my little brother and they were wayyyyy smaller than I thought they would be I mean there tiny I had no clue wen I got the package. I thought only one came but it was both right next to each other. The packaging was ok looking from the outside but the boxes they came in were a bit crushed. I thought making the fish eggs and dropping them in the water had to be one of the best parts. I think it's more fun to make them than eat them they weren't horrible but they didn't taste at all what I thought they would

This was a lot of fun to make with my little brother. It was actually quite tasty BUT the "rice" has an extremely weird and off putting texture. It's a very small gummy making set, but fun to do with younger kids. Oh and do pay attention to the quantity of water you use to make the "salmon" and "egg roll" add too much, it will soft set and fall apart on you. the instructions are in Japanese seeing as this is Japanese imported candy, but there are helpful pictures that show a clear picture of what to do if you can't read it and there is always YouTube vids to help you grasp a clearer understanding of the instructions if Japanese happens to fail to be in your repertoire. My brother didn't care for it much but I thought it was cute and tasty. Downside: it seriously doesn't come with much, so it's a tad too pricey for my liking.

I thought this was an overall very nice kit. I am extremely pleased with the excellent customer service, which was very clear and informative on what do about a delivery problem I stumbled on. I was emailed twice, both very detailed and gave me all my answers. As for the kit itself, it is wonderful. My dad didn't really like it, but me and my mom did! We love grape, so this was good for us. The rice was good, tasted like a mix of cotton candy and grape. The fish part was like grape gummy, yum! The fish egg candies tastes like grape, too. The soy sauce was sweet and tasted like grape soda. All flavors combined nicely and had a light, nice mild flavor. I had a blast making this kit and have already ordered the Ramen kit to do next! I love Kracie Popin' Cookin! I would not hesitate at all to say that I definitely recommend this product to anyone! Very cute and tasty candy, and so much fun to make!!

I, like many others, ordered this wonderful product after seeing it featured in RRcherrypie's Youtube videos. The minute it came in the mail I just had to sit down and put it together. Everything was pretty easy to construct and assemble, but what really made me glad I ordered this was the process of making the fish eggs. As I'm not terribly familiar with the territory, some of my fish eggs came out looking a little bit long or deformed, but once I put them on top of the rice they looked and smelled great! Overall this was a really fun product and everything tasted great, save for the rice, which smelled a lot better -- it had some sort of odd salty aftertaste I'm not sure was intentional. Regardless, I'd give this product five stars just for the fun of making it and putting it together - you definitely won't regret buying this one.

Facile à faire une fois qu on a vu le tuto sur YouTube (pas besoin du son, la vidéo suffit). J'ai fait d'autres packs de bonbons de cette marque, c'est cette boîte la plus ludique. Résultat final bof au visuel mais ça nous a occupé 45mn et ma fille a adoré les faire et les manger, même si goût très chimique. A partir de 4 ans minimum avec l aide d'un grand. Reçu en seulement une semaine

This kit has no english instructions but you can find them online using a QR code on the box. It's a bit hidden, but it's there. The candy works exactly as suggested and turned out great. Making the salmon roe was worth the price alone. So fun. I wish they explained how it works for a science element! The taste is not great, mostly because the rice is banana flavour, and that's not to my liking.
